My mother is an acupuncturist. I am extremely skeptical it has any physiological effect. Yet it clearly helps a lot of people with chronic pain and other conditions which may be through a beneficial psychological effect. Either way it causes no harm and if it works for you then great and I fully support its use as a complementary therapy. Where I have an issue is with homeopathy which is quackery of the top order and unlike most other therapies claims to be a primary therapeutic tool.
The opioid issue in the US is horrendous-not helped by its healthcare system and the fact that prescription drugs can be advertised to the public. | | | |

With regards to the AZ vaccine, you're talking a minute percentage. Hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions to one odds of there being a problem.
Of course, these days people aren't allowed to die so the Govt have bottled it a bit, but anyone receiving the AZ vaccine, regardless of age, health or whatever, is at more risk driving to the vaccination hub than they are actually getting it. We should never have stopped issuing it to any group.
