AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm 18:54 - Jun 1 with 62237 views | RAFCBLUE | A beautiful evening this evening at Spotland for one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures of the season. Team news when we have it, but the Board are expected to play a flat back 5. Zoom is filling up nicely with many in attendance.

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:03 - Jun 2 with 4760 views | wozzrafc | When the dust settles shock will turn to real anger and I suspect a lot worse will come out over the next few days. Total credit to the trust board and others who have worked tirelessly to ensure this was brought to light. Often being criticised along the way. This to me gives them a mandate for a place on the board should they want it!!! [Post edited 2 Jun 2021 0:07]

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:07 - Jun 2 with 4591 views | RAFCBLUE | I've seen a togetherness tonight covering these two topics that has been missing for a long time. Credit to all of the many people who have worked tirelessly for many many months. Hopefully the Trust can capitalise on this ahead of the new season.

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:08 - Jun 2 with 4553 views | fermin | Having said that, assuming Andrew Kilpatrick and the board voted against there can't have been that many others doing the same given that the total shares against were around 150k to 160k from memory. Slightly fewer shares were cast in the GR vote. Perhaps someone else can correct me if I have misremembered. I should have written them down.

Trevor Butterworth was the star tonight supported by all the people in the room who made sure it was properly and fairly run. Credit to Tony Pockney too; not the easiest evening to chair but he did so admirably.

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:19 - Jun 2 with 4188 views | DaleiLama | Night fellow Daleys. We may have been relegated but the regime which oversaw the debacle of last season will change and BBM may actually be held to account next year now. We can sleep safely in the knowledge that our club can not be sold to a ne'er do well for 25 pieces of silver.

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:21 - Jun 2 with 4139 views | Shun | I can’t claim to understand everything that’s come out over the past few months but it really does seem like a seismic shift has occurred tonight. We haven’t had threats of administration or liquidation, but it feels like a runaway train has been diverted before we could get to that stage. We haven’t been in the national media, but we’ve gone quietly about our business, working away beneath the surface to achieve something that could be club-saving. It does make me wonder whether fans of other clubs could have organised something like tonight. I think the rather measured success of Dale’s history has developed a quite unique fanbase that allows us to scrutinise beyond promises of glory and perform some genuinely impressive investigative work. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! To the Trust, and to the unnamed group of fans who I’m sure won’t even want to be named (judd, RAFCBLUE, fitzo, and many others I assume, but apologies if I’m way off the mark), thank you. AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 00:23 - Jun 2 with 4101 views | 442Dale | It’s a credit to all Dale supporters who put their club first by doing whatever they can, proving again what a unique fanbase we have. Also, to the Trust for responding when needed most, thus illustrating how vital they are. We need to try and quickly find positives, structure and a plan to move forward now. The fans have shown they will act in the best interests of the club, the time has come for that to be repaid and some bridges to be built. And fast.

Well done to everyone who listened to the arguments and voted accordingly. The many people who have been vocal against Bottomley have been fully vindicated. There is another way out of the mess that we find ourselves in. There always is. A pivotal night in the history of our club...but much work to be done to repair the awful damage done by Bottomley and his arrogance. So proud of my club right now. We have truly the best and most dedicated supporters anywhere. Everyone who helped tonight please take a bow. The real hard work starts tomorrow. Up the Dale.

AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 07:57 - Jun 2 with 3087 views | bazingadale | What does this mean for DB's role as chief exec? Is he allowed to continue in the role if he and the club wish for him to do so? Also just seen a statement by Col regarding last night and he said we are the only EFL side in Greater Manchester to never be in administration. I know Oldham have been on the brink before but I don't recall them ever being in administration unless it was before my time etc?
AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 07:59 - Jun 2 with 3064 views | James1980 | Was it explained properly why BBM's contract was extended? Would a vote to have new shares issued but none of this secret deals exclusivity nonsense, go through? Can gift vouchers be used towards season tickets? Just thinking, to show what last night means to the supporters, vouchers to the value of what it costs to renew a season ticket could be bought by as many fans as possible.

Thank you to the Trust for its leadership and the respectful way the matters of concern werepursued. Thank you to those shareholders who put their trust in the Trust by nominating the Trust as proxy, and the shareholders who participated directly in the voting. Still lots of work to be done but this is a major step into restoring confidence in our club and its leadership. Lets hope the right decisions can be made in filling the void at the board and executive level. I wasnt able to attend but great to see Trevor Butterworths role in events, a great friend of the club and its supporters going back at least to the 70s.
AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 08:40 - Jun 2 with 2783 views | nordenblue | How does Bottomley sanction a payrise for himself surely that must have been agreed by others too prior? Some little gems being unearthed, and all the folk who got slagged off for calling DB out months and months ago for this exact stuff, very much with perfect reason to question him as it all transpires. Keep up the great work and never stop asking questions
AGM / EGM /AGM / EGM Match update thread - kick off 7pm on 09:05 - Jun 2 with 2613 views | R17ALE | Just to give you an idea of how sneaky they were on the night.... On the first Resolution voting slip from the adjourned 2020 EGM, our options were: YES - I agree to remove the restriction of authorised share capital and delete this from the Company's Memorandum of Association. or NO - I do agree to remove the restriction of the authorised share capital. The "not" before agree had been omitted! Typo my arse!! They really do think we're stupid! Obviously, it was spotted and admitted to prior to the vote. After being pointed out, they withdrew the motion. It was just one of about a dozen "oh we've got that wrong" moments. Like Trevor Butterworth blurted out, "all your names should be on this ballot. You're all bloody useless! We're not Manchester United, we're Rochdale!" At 83 he still commands a presence. As did all the overcoat men present. [Post edited 2 Jun 2021 9:06]

How can you look your fellow work colleagues in the eye knowing you received a massive pay increase during a world pandemic, meanwhile the rest of the staff are getting furloughed. They should do the decent thing, and resign from their position with immediate effect, I’m not to optimistic about that though, as they have been laughing at us all behind our backs, Superfan? Custodians of the club? My arse.
