Match Officials Chris Kavanagh is the referee chosen to officiate the EFL Championship final at Wembley. Kavanagh will be assisted by Sian Massey-Ellis and Dan Cook. David Coote is the fourth official and Neil Davies the reserve assistant referee.

If we do manage to win on saturday (not sure im that confident), how would you compare it to 2011? I think it would be more impressive considering the squad we had back then.

It’s only in hindsight we realise how good that team was, and a third goal for Reading which they should have had and it would have been a different story. Anything can happen from here on.

Cooper now has the measure of Frank.
Grimes has the upper-hand in the middle. Guehi is a class or two above Toney. Ayew is a notch above all comers and will intimidate Raya. Woody our golden glove, solidifies our winning spine.
Grimes is so key. We won't let them swamp him this time. He'll gain the initiative in the middle and dictate our tempo. Get him in the Red Zone like saturday, score a blinder and drive the high press relentlessly. Aided and abetted by Fulton who is such the best foil for him. And his symbiotic relationship with Hourihane is the icing on our midfield three.
Onwards and upwards, as has been the mantra for the last two seasons under Cooper.

We were much the better side at their place. How we didn't win is a surprise. We've played them twice in the league this season and were definitely the better team by a mile in the first game.
