38 v 16 on 03:38 - Mar 29 with 8007 views | kernow | Darren "sicknote" Anderton? Probably more like 20 years ago and after he left the blue few.
Mount v Ward Prowse on 10:00 - Mar 29 with 7872 views | dirk_doone | The list only includes players who won England caps as Saints or Pompey players. Darren Anderton didn't. He won his first England cap 2 years after he joined Spurs.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 10:28 - Mar 29 with 7844 views | Butty101 | My personal favourite is always asking 130, when was the last time pompey had a Ward Prowse. Eg a player come through your academy, get into your first team and break into the national team without having to leave.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 12:36 - Mar 29 with 7771 views | dirk_doone | I guess that must have been 60 to 70 years ago, around about the time they last won a game against Arsenal or Chelsea.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 18:19 - Mar 29 with 7624 views | Sadoldgit | Am I right in thinking that Mount has never played professional football for Portsmouth? If so, so what?
Mount v Ward Prowse on 18:32 - Mar 29 with 7608 views | dirk_doone | I think he's pointing out that any promising footballer from the Portsmouth area would rather play for the biggest local club - Southampton, or one of the big London clubs. It makes sense as it's been 60-70 years since any footballer from there came through their youth system and got capped for England as a PFC player and it could well be another 60-70 years before it happens again: a bit like them winning a game against either Arsenal or Chelsea, which is why you see so many of those teams' shirts there. 38 v 16 on 07:37 - Mar 30 with 7401 views | TripleNiemi | Come on Dirk, you are opening yourself for a massive fall pal. You do know what postcodes and villages fall under the 'Portsmouth' conurbation do you not?

38 v 16 on 11:03 - Mar 30 with 7309 views | TimSaint | Oh yes - his famous terminologies for the City of Portsmouth and it's surrounding areas, coupled with a player born in South London apparently coming from Portsmouth and that other well known fact that Camberley is in Hampshire !! Some real classics !! :-)

Mount v Ward Prowse on 21:16 - Apr 1 with 7076 views | 130yrs_and_one_Cup | One of my favourites is to ask a Soton fan the last time their team had 3 of their players on the pitch for England at the same time. They always seem to struggle with that one.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 00:22 - Nov 9 with 6519 views | 130yrs_and_one_Cup | Career League Goals 32 JWP 33 Mount Looks like he has already overtaken your goldenboy, and he's had 5 less seasons. . Next step - English goals, then PL goals. What a player!!!

Mount v Ward Prowse on 09:32 - Nov 9 with 6304 views | BuenosSaint | And dare I ask who is your current equivalent pfc golden boy at the moment and how he ranks compared to these 2? Sorry cannot even name a single pompey player myself these days.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 09:35 - Nov 9 with 6301 views | Bicester_North | Is this what it’s come to now? Creepily Obsessing over a Chelsea player as their own club is so bereft of any redeeming features.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 09:40 - Nov 9 with 6293 views | saints__fan__73 | Mane has scored far more PL goals than that.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 09:43 - Nov 9 with 6285 views | saints__fan__73 | Does Mount actually count as a Pompey youth team player? From this I had assumed he's come from their Academy but looking at it he spent one day a week there from ages 4 to 6 before joining Chelsea's academy.

Mount v Ward Prowse on 13:05 - Nov 9 with 6204 views | RednWight | To be fair One day a week in that craphole must seem like a lot longer

Mount v Ward Prowse on 16:26 - Nov 9 with 6094 views | Messysaints | Mount is an attacking midfielder, who plays in a world class team.. he doesnt have a better goal per min record for England though does he? Lets compare him to another attacking mid like Foden who he has less goals than him even though he has played nearlly 100 games more and played a full season in the championship....... Honestly cant see why your comparing the goals scored of a defensive mid to that of an attacking mid, its like comparing apples with oranges........ P.S Mount is not a Portsmouth youth player, he is Chelseas, if your including his 1 day a week at portsmouth, then you need to include his 1 day a week at Saints too...
Mount v Ward Prowse on 17:01 - Nov 9 with 6074 views | 130yrs_and_one_Cup | absolute drivel. Why don't you actually look at the facts. Mount - total league goals = 33 in 145 Foden = 18 in 76 OK, lets subtract the Championship goals for Mount Mount = 25 in 110 = 1 goal every 4.4 games ie top flight football Foden = 18 in 76 = 1 goal every 4.22 games Last season City scored 83 goals, Chelsea scored 58. Thes season before, City 102 goals, Chelsea 69. It looks like Mount's goals form a greater percentage fo his team's goals. Your not very good at this are? I was told a while ago that Prowse is a better player. That's it. I think I have proved otherwise - and the England caps also prove that.
