In the 1931/32 season we actually won four league games at home! We went on a run of 13 consecutive home league games without a win. Our current run is 16 consecutive home league games without a win. Even the horror of the 1973-74 season had a couple of home cup wins thrown in.
As the 31-32 season rolled over into 32-33, we went a further three home league games without a win until we defeated Mansfield here 2-1. A run of 16 consecutive home league games without a win, as now. Is there worse than that, TVOS?
With 5 games at the COA to go, there is a possibility (I genuinely hope not) we may be witnessing our worst home season since entering the football league 99 years ago. | | | |
