Two evenly matched teams on paper but Brighton seemed to want it a bit more in that half and they were picking up nearly all of the loose balls in midfield. I don't know whether Forster should have saved that goal. Fom that distance you'd think he had at least a 50/50 chance but he's made 2 crucial saves since which are the only reason Brighton don't have a deserved lead at half-time.
On a scale of 1 being absolute crap and 10 being League 1 defending thats offensive to the Premier league what number are Southampton's defence?
He who is silent and bows his head dies every time he does so. He who speaks aloud and walks with his head held high dies only once.

Where is bednarek for that goal? And... Why is there such a difference in our play that has been so good for about a year... Is it all about Ings in the end? And how does adams not hit the back of the net there?

It's very poor and pedestrian. Without Ings we don't offer much. We need to seriously improve the team but we are skint so probably won't. All quite depressing really.
You know we are not playing well when the management thinks Redmond is a better option than what we have on the pitch. Alot of players out there that have been disappointing. is their heart really in this team/club?
How is it when we are on goal we more than not seem to shoot straight at the keeper?
