Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:25 - Feb 20 with 1153 views | 1885_SFC | Excellent point lads. Great result all things considered & it stops the rot. Unbeaten in the PL by Chelsea this season. At last - a weekend when I can enjoy the football for once! UTS.

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:25 - Feb 20 with 1145 views | Ingskneeslide | Top result that. Salisu and Djenepo men of the match. RH got it tactically spot on today
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:27 - Feb 20 with 1116 views | TimSaint | ....and then Zouma had a kick out at N'Lundulu - but clearly VAR not interested as it is another Chelsea player with the offence !! Fvck em We got a battling point and stopped the rot. Hopefully we can push on from this and get a point or 3 on Tuesday night at Leeds.

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:28 - Feb 20 with 1109 views | kingslandstand1 | Didn't get a lot of service, wouldn't quite go as far as awful

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:29 - Feb 20 with 1086 views | kingslandstand1 | Just for the way he fought for everything and got up again without whinging every time they took him out
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:30 - Feb 20 with 1082 views | 1885_SFC | With all their wealth - they still couldn't score from open play though.

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:30 - Feb 20 with 1078 views | Saintsforeverj | Ings doesn't normally need too much service. He doesn't normally foul players clumsily in the box. He doesn't normally lash at chances like he did when Ves hit the bar. Awful by his standards. But an excellent point and battling performance. [Post edited 20 Feb 2021 14:31]

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:35 - Feb 20 with 1037 views | A1079 | I have stayed off this a bit as it was becoming tiring and all too easy to add to the sense of doom and gloom and frustration. So, today, all I have to say is:- - RH got the tactics completely right today. The main thing was to stop the rot and not necessarily play the pressure or possession game; - great performance by our defence - limited a good Chelsea side to very little in reality. Not going to make too much noise but the Vestergaard, Bednarek and Salisu looked a good combination; - penalty was probably right, but I so wish it had not happened, but at least we did not go into a melt down this time and kept our composure and game plan; - a captains performance by Djenepo today. He showed some real metal today; - I don't want to make too much of officials and VAR performance as it was probably better today than it has been but there were still times when I felt Chelsea got off lightly or the rub of the green; - good all round team performance. We offered little up front and when we did our final ball was again not there and scoring is arguably more of an issue than our defending. But, I can say, a good point, a deserved point and some pride back in the team and as someone else said on here, I can leave watching a game feeling satisfied. Hope we get something against Leeds Utd as it will make my life more bearable since I am surrounded by their supporters at work.
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:38 - Feb 20 with 1015 views | saint22 | A great pint Such a shame they got a draw thru a stupid challenge like that from Danny But it stops the rot and we kick on Salisu starting to look a good fit but we need KWP back
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:40 - Feb 20 with 1002 views | saint22 | Ok fair point and equally that was the one time he drove forward and look what happened I just wish he would attack players more and look forward as when he does things happen
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:40 - Feb 20 with 1005 views | cocklebreath | Djenepo and Sailisu excellent. I can’t stand that gimpy bald linesman I’m sure he was the one against Man U?

Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:42 - Feb 20 with 993 views | City_boy | That was a good point today and more important we stopped the rot against a good side.. The psychological benefits of this result will be crucial to the team and the manager. Salisu was very impressive. He looked strong and has pace.
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:47 - Feb 20 with 962 views | Sadoldgit | Moussa my MotM. Good to see him putting in a performance this season at last! Wouldn’t want to watch that every week but just the thing we needed today. Now bring on Leeds and let’s hope that Stuey is fit again.
Chelsea Game Matchday Thread on 14:49 - Feb 20 with 940 views | A1079 | A fully fit KWP today Saint22 would have been interesting. Danny Ings was disappointing today but then he did not get alot of service as rightfully I think we set out with trying to stop the downward spiral. But, nagging at me is how much Ings has lost his heart in it as there were moments in the game when I thought in the past he would have made more effort. I do wonder what impact he has had on the team and on our recent poor run. I don't want to over-analyse today. I am satisfied with that performance and hope we can do something against Leeds, though it won't be easy - then it never is with Saints! We need to create and take more chances. One goal a game (or less) is always going to make it difficult to get a win.
