I was more pointing to the length of time of these rules and what could be argued the ignorance of the actual power Cardiff Bay has. I don't think even the politicians in Cardiff Bay were aware of it.
There's no problem in formulating a plan incase an election needs to be delayed for some reason but Im insinuating that COVID is an excuse to allow time for Labour to heal ready for campaigning.

Senedd election, who do you vote for? on 17:26 - Feb 9 with 1613 views
Don’t really understand why anyone would want to abolish the assembly though. Why hand back powers to those that demonstrably don’t, nor ever have, given a shit about Wales. John Redwood for example ffs, Secretary of Wales my arse.
It’s bloody frustrating though watching the complacent mob at the Senedd in their Cardiff-centric bubble. They really need holding to account. It’s up to us collectively to do so, isn’t it?

"the welsh government care" ,whilst the English one ,of any description doesn't? This makes me believe Wales is actually Nirvana. Don't see it myself but any excuse...
Plaid Cymru should be utterly embarrassed by how irrelevant they are. Labour are at an all time low nationally in general. They’ve made a pigs ear of the pandemic in Wales. The conservatives have made a pigs ear of it in England. Yet Plaid are nowhere. You just don’t hear of them. You might occasionally witness the odd anti Brexit ejaculation from that English lady Savile in Westminster, or the odd gender pronoun tweet here and there. That’s the most we are going to get from them it seems.
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Conservatives have made many many mistakes during this curse but they are starting from scratch and there is no template for fighting covid or wasnt .
Labour, for the first 6 months did nothing to unite this country and many simply saw it as a chance to gain political points. They are still at it.
United country -myarse-and that is where Boris has got it completely wrong. We do not have common sense either and put together and you have a perfect toxic shytstorm that won't go away.
People see things in Wales especially through a red hue of hate learned from the mother's breast.Everything from Edward 11 to the Miners strike-all negative ,all insular all irrelevant to what we face now.
All the right wing arseholes on here voting for Abolish. Get a grip. Call yourself Welsh!?. You're a disgrace and an abomination to our Welsh nation and forefathers. Scotland soon leaving to destroy Boris' and Brexiteers precious union, to be followed by Northern Ireland and then Wales. Tories are a complete anathema to every decent Welshman, epitomised by that WRT Davies disgrace.
There is a template for fighting covid and other similar viruses as has been demonstrated by countries like South Korea, Taiwan etc, countries who’ve had experience of SARS. Our country had a major exercise (Op Cygnus) a few years ago and the conclusions weren’t good, in fact the report/findings were never published.

You do realise that your little ill mannered outburst demonstrates exactly why the nats under various political guises have spent at least 100 years achieving the sum total of diddly squat towards their aims don't you?

The senedd pasted legislation today to allow 16 and 17 years olds to vote in the next elections. They also voted to allow foriegn nationals to vote.
Labour managed to get the legislation passed by 1 vote only after the presiding officer and deputy presiding officer voted. These two do not generally take part in senedd voting.
