"'We have never tried to cloud the issues. We have not used cross-company charges, sale and leaseback or any other accounting mechanisms which would have materially affected our return nor were we non-cooperative with a view to dragging out proceedings.' Hoos believes there was a positive reaction to the plea. He said: 'The document was well-received within the room. There was only one club who expressed their disagreement. In conversations with my colleagues afterwards there appeared to be a great deal of sympathy with QPR.' Lee Hoos - trying to get QPR's FFP fine reduced on 11:18 - Jan 20 with 2835 views | enfieldargh | It highlights our compliance after having got caught out by being relegated the season after breaking the FFP rules. AFC Bournemouth, Leicester, Villa plus others all got away with it because they stayed up. Given the chance most of the bigger championship clubs would/have tried it , Derby, Weds have come a right cropper and Reading will probably go that way if they dont go up this season. I think with covid it might be FFP is relaxed/scraped. Hard to see any club having sympathy with us unless its those on the brink who are supporting us....kind of | |
