Putting aside the scoreline and the goal itself I thought we played really well in that half. Other than the goal we defended well and McCarthy distribution out of goal was excellent at times. Some good approach play but I have the same concern I have had for a while, without Ings where is a goal going to come from. We have got in and around the box alot and admittedly Kaspar made a couple of good saves but just need to be more clinical. Enjoyable half and game thus far though.

Smallbone had a good half and some good link up play through the midfield.
2 good teams but it doesn't help when you have a Ref who chooses to miss or act on a clear foul and then gives a yellow card to the same player who got fouled for committing a similar foul. | | | |
