The last league meeting was in the premier league in 2015 at Watford which the swans won 2-1. The sides did meet in the league cup in 2019 which Watford won 2-1 in a controversial game. Swansea City record v Watford Games won: 22 Games drawn:10 Games lost: 17 First meeting 02 Sep 1920 Swansea Town 2 Watford 1 Division Three (South) Watford in 2021 Until April 2019, when Watford played at Vicarage Road their players traditionally entered the pitch at the start of the game to the Z-Cars theme tune. However, in mid-April 2019 the team changed their entrance song to Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" More about Elton later, as you would expect. Head coach Xisco Muñoz Assistant head coach Roberto Cuesta Striker Luther Blissett holds the record for Watford appearances, having played 503 matches in all competitions between 1976 and 1992, and his 415 appearances in The Football League during the same period is also a club record. Blissett holds the corresponding goalscoring records, with 186 career Watford goals, 148 of which were in the league. The records for the most league goals in a season is held by Cliff Holton, having scored 42 goals in the 1959—60 season. The highest number of goals scored by a player in a single game at a professional level is the six registered by Harry Barton against Wycombe Wanderers in September 1903. Luther Blissett being a Watford player with another man called John What do we know about the Watfords Not dissimilar to the Waltons, the family with 17 children all born in a minute a while ago, Watfords also are unique. Whilst we all know about the Waltons, the Watfords are slightly different. Primarily they are made out of an ingredient called brimson, many people in that Watfords are made out of brimson. Prime example is a man called Brimson, a character from the old Charles Dickens days who was in a sexual relationship with Bob Cratchett's wife Cerys. We have sourced a photograph of this person and transferred him in to modern day man. Brimson the man who bagged Cerys Cratchett behind Bobs back When Bob found out about Brimson he spent many nights dreaming up ways to kill him, or generally maim him. Unfortunately Inspector Button was working in the area and was trialling a new radio made out of cheese and stopped him. Nobody knows how he did it, but he wasn’t an inspector for nothing. Luckily the wrath of a Cratchett never came to fruition for Brimson Things to do in Watford Harry Potter lives in a studio in Watford and if you ring him he will take you round his studio for money. Cheslyn Gardens is a nice spot, especially for doggers, you can get a big mouthful of ham with a spreadable cheese ending for no money at all. Just bring your car, your mrs and your mobile phone. Another great place to visit is Bushey Rose Garden, now Rose who opened the bushey rose garden some while ago was another let’s say less scrupulous of Hertfordshire ladies. Yes, her bushey roses were known throughout the county but she didn’t make good use of available personal hygiene amenities locally. At times people would stop and sniff and say ‘Ooooooh, that’s fishy’ then Rose would appear and they would all look at each other and give a big sigh. Finally on our adventure through the historical Watford’s is a visit to the Watford Colliseum. Built in 1938 it used to be the place to go to watch gladiators and bull fighting, sometimes a film. It became even more famous when acoustic people turned up there and made noises. It is also available to rent for parties and cookery lessons. The world famous Watford Coliseum, available for Roman fights and cookery lessons. ( Closed on Thursdays ) Subscribe on Twitter ! Swansea City v Watford : Matchday Thread : Sat 2nd Jan 21 : NEW YEARS DAY UPDATE on 15:51 - Jan 2 with 909 views | TenbySwan | Bidwell 's yellow card really annoyed me. An innocuous challenge, on the byline by the Watford bench and their manager going berserk and waving the imaginary card and the referee who was previously just walking over duly obliged! Cheats. They have done many much worse challenges not punished. Good showing and a great goal. Unlucky with their goal.
Swansea City v Watford : Matchday Thread : Sat 2nd Jan 21 : NEW YEARS DAY UPDATE on 15:52 - Jan 2 with 905 views | AndyCole | Notably - That us and Brentford play the best football, they’ve done their homework and adapted as such. They have a Spanish manager who plays on the front foot, so it should be a good contest given their EPL pedigree/players

Swansea City v Watford : Matchday Thread : Sat 2nd Jan 21 : NEW YEARS DAY UPDATE on 15:54 - Jan 2 with 877 views | AnotherJohn | Frustrating game where we look as though we have the clear beating of Watford if we push forward, but keep presenting them with chances through careless play near our penalty area. I was relieved to see that free kick sail over the bar. I've just changed from Edge to Chrome because I wasn't able to scroll through the thread to get to the end. There is some kind of glitch.

Swansea City v Watford : Matchday Thread : Sat 2nd Jan 21 : NEW YEARS DAY UPDATE on 15:58 - Jan 2 with 839 views | AndyCole | Totally (as mentioned) It’s a bit like the good old days again when we play the better football, on a proper pitch, against the big boys. Or as some here would say Dafydd vs the English giants
