https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/social-bubbles-information-202021/

pick the bones out of this one, I am probably completely wrong here but it reads to me like you need to form a social bubble group which is who you will sit with at games.
Those people must live in the same house as you or be in your support bubble so I wouldn't be able to pick 5 mates to sit with but I could go with someone I have regular contact with such as my Dad.

You need to register your bubble by next Friday to give the club a chance to plan where everyone will sit in the stadium, you can also pick your preference for which stand you want to be in although won't be guaranteed that.

seems to be written that more social bubbles the better to me , thing is how do they prove somebody from outside your household is part of your bubble ?

more bubbles less wasted space but main concern is how do you prove that somebody is pat of your social bubble ?

I don't really know how to approach this.
Think we've got about eight wanting to go, so do we go for six and two or four and four or three three two or what?
And what happens if one of the six can't go to one of the games, do the other five have to not go? Or can we apply for five for that game?
And if one of us has a ticket but gives it to a mate, who and how will it be policed? ID at the gates?

Must be a logistical and financial nightmare for the club let alone supporters.

No match day cash coming in from walk ups.

To tell the truth I cant see supporters being in football grounds anytime soon with the current infection rate rising daily.

This Covid-19 is a bastard bitch.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

'Supporters wishing to attend matches alone are also asked to carry out this step to ensure that we allow for the correct percentage of single seats, socially distanced from other supporters.'

So I need to go on and register myself as an individual social support support bubble containing one household made up of two occupants with one attending occupant from that household support bubble in attendance within said bubble. Got it.

I suspect the answer is the club don't give a sht. They'll do their bit, lay out the legislation, do the groups of six, state you have to be from two households, but really they just want as many people in as possible so if you want six from six households, or if you give a spare to a mate on the day, they're not going to care or check.

One problem I have is the under 8s season ticket I have attached to my season ticket, my nephew won't be going much as it stands, Happy to upgrade to a adult ticket on the day for my Mrs who I live with and is Rangers or close mates who normally come but can't be dealing with getting ID every game.

So I've got a group of 6 we always go together and will all be drinking together before the games but live in 5 different households,, can i just put us all together as a bubble or do we have to live together?

Sorry i know you probably don't know but just trying to get my head around it all

IMHO

Q. Think we've got about eight wanting to go, so do we go for six and two or four and four or three three two or what?
A. If the 8 are living in 2 households who have formed a support bubble then you can choose anything from 6-2, 5-3 or 4-4. If they live in more than 2 households then you have to go with the number of households or bubbles. So if you are in 8 houses then you can only do 2-2-2-2.

Q. And what happens if one of the six can't go to one of the games, do the other five have to not go? Or can we apply for five for that game?
A. You go with the 5, #6 doesnt enter the ballot. If it happens a lot I expect the club will want you to re-size your bubble

Q. And if one of us has a ticket but gives it to a mate, who and how will it be policed? ID at the gates?
A. I suspect the club will want to avoid policing it and Boris' mob will want them to be held responsible. It could be you'll need both the season ticket and the bubble/ballot ticket they'll issue for each game.

If there are season ticket holders who struggle with internet it'll be a nightmare for them.

How do you think they will handle people using others season tickets? I Havent got a season ticket and so I often used my dads when he wasnt attending but havent seen any info on whether thatll be possible with the ballot

Officially no. You have to go as a 2-2-1.

However what I'm wondering is who and how are they going to check if you all turn up as a five? It's not going to be passports and two utility bills at the turnstile is it? Or is it?

This is the position we're in. Eight across six households. Tiorn between going by the book or just lumping in for a six and sod it.

We have 5 tickets which we share between 6 of us across 3 households.

Think me and my Dad will say we are a bubble, as will another father and son.

Not sure we will renew the last season ticket to be honest as the final household in our group don't seem that bothered about going this season as their seat is guarenteed for next season

far from thick mate, i thought i understood most of it until today but this one went right over my head at first.

I think it all means if you want to sit with friends or family, as you probably used to do, you need to form a bubble of those people and then when you get tickets you all sit together.

The small print of it which comes from the government and may well change by the time I've typed this is that the bubble you form needs to live in the same house but i guess it's up to the individual how honest they want to be about that. I think if you do that with more than 6 people the club are likely to want proof you live together.

if you choose to just go on your own you still get a seat but are 2 meteres away from the next person/group

That isn’t normally a problem in the lower loft anyway.Only 2m Apart is easy for us family stand fans.

Only just read all this - if I understand it properly, I have no problem as I have no friends. If I have to sit 2m away from fellow fan, no probs either as I should get some SAR knee room!

I await details of ballot arrangements...if I don't have my nominated seat, I'll be upset as I enjoy a great view and treasure the location.

I think the one things that's certain according to what Hoos has said is ST holders shouldn't expect to be in their usual seat - sorry. Seems like you may at least be able to request your usual stand which is something.

Doesn’t the club have all the address details of each season ticket holder? I’m not saying they would check but there would be an awful lot of Bubble support going on If a group of 6 contained multiple different addresses?

It a difficult one to gauge

Me too, so can I go alone?

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I'm actually happy to embrace that bit. I've only sat in two bits of Loftus Road in my life so it could be fun to spend a few games getting shuffled around a bit.

Come back to me with that when you're stuck in the paddocks at ground level getting rained on or behind a fckin steel girder that blocks off sight of one of the goals!

As for the bubble issue, I find it a bit frustrating that people will be forced to stick to the 2 household rule. Social bubbles of more than 6 exist, I am encouraged to be in the office with people from multiple households, train travel is fine, flights are fine, being in a pub is mostly OK. I can sit with 5 ppl from other households in cinemas, etc. But now the people I socialise with, sit with in the pub pre-game, etc can't be near me outside in the stands?

I think it should just be bubbles of up to 6 people and if you're worried about interacting with more than 2 households, don't do it. I know that's not possible with gov guidelines, but it was fine last week and not this, plus there's exemptions for hunting and schools and visiting castles, etc. It's all just bollocks.

With Blue n White being used as away dressing room I can't see how the lower loft can be used which will reduce things.

The could maybe use left hand side of Lower Loft if people come through and exit via Upper Loft entrance.

yeah thats where I'm a bit hesitant as we have some in different households but I do think it's the same as all these rules about COVID, if you don't take the piss you should be OK
