**Coventry Match Thread** on 13:06 - Sep 19 with 1503 views | paulparker | If we win both , keep a clean sheet then warburton has done well to address the issues
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

**Coventry Match Thread** on 13:16 - Sep 19 with 1481 views | Match82 | I think there's a balance and we've gone too far. I get what Warburton is saying about needing to sacrifice a bit of physicality if you want to play a certain style but the opposite is also true and surely there is a happy medium
**Coventry Match Thread** on 13:44 - Sep 19 with 1453 views | BazzaInTheLoft | I can’t see us getting two clean sheets all season let alone in the next two games so I think you might as well call for his head now. Who do you think we should get in bearing in mind Ainsworth will in all likelyhood be well out of the picture? By our own standards: - It’s got to be someone with a history of bringing through youth - It’s got to be someone who is great with football economics - It’s got to be someone with a proven track record in the Championship - It’s got to be someone who has a good defensive record I don’t think there are many of those floating around to be honest. **Coventry Match Thread** on 14:25 - Sep 19 with 1401 views | paulparker | I think warburton has done ok , listening to the open all R’s podcast I felt the praise of him was OTT What worries me was his interview with Clive it came across as arrogant and that he was not going to change his principles Or drop certain players , it also worries me that some posters/fans believe he is to good for us, no one is bigger than the club imo he needs to address certain areas Goal keeper - it’s safe to say Lumley is not a championship keeper he has been given enough chances and has shined Left back - Wallace is shot at this level Amos in the midfield I cannot see what he brings to the team Organising the team at set pieces Now if warburton was to leave or we slide into a relegation battle I think you need to look to the following , Kenny jackett, or Keith Curle both have done great jobs and had success with players from the lower leagues and both are good at organising teams I hope warburton changes things because he has shown what he can bring as a coach but I fear he is to stubborn and will carry on doing it his way , the fans will turn , this is probably the worst championship in history and northern is right , to be relegated you have to be proper Sh1t

**Coventry Match Thread** on 14:34 - Sep 19 with 1398 views | BazzaInTheLoft | Wasn’t Warnock arrogant? Criticism of individual players are only really useful if we can afford to replace them. They will still be here if we had Jackett or Curle, both of who would cost money to have their contracts terminated. We are at the point where after 20 managers in 20 years that stability for stability sake trumps any kind of faults a individual manager may have as long as they are finishing above 21st.

**Coventry Match Thread** on 16:59 - Sep 19 with 1279 views | themodfather | why cant we defend? two easy headers, poor goalie...all the possession and side to side counts for nothing if you keep conceding. we need a goalie asap and Kelly/Lumley have had chances. same old same old

**Coventry Match Thread** on 12:13 - Sep 20 with 1106 views | loftus77 | I've calmed down since Friday night which was ........annoying to say the least. But the only way to look at it - we get a respectable 2-2 draw at home to Forest in the first game then followed up with an equally respectable 2-2- draw 'away' at Coventry. I would wager no one on this site would moan/complain about the manager/the team/the defence (?)/our prospects under this scenario (2pts on the board and a GD of 0). Whisper it quietly....but in reality we are now one point and one goal BETTER than that totally satisfactory scenario. Onto 'Boro...
**Coventry Match Thread** on 12:30 - Sep 20 with 1079 views | QPR_John | Again the point is being missed. While your scenario gives us less points it would if true suggest something to build on. The performance at Coventry does not. It is the performance that is being criticised.
