Could potentially be one of the best signings we've made in years. Both in terms of what he may contribute to the team and what, if successful, he could command when inevitably he's sold.
We clearly didn't see the best if him when he was with us first time around and looking at that highlights video he looks like a top quality forward. Genuinely two footed, pacy and with a good amount of skill.
Exciting times ahead!

I'd be amazed if the overall fee wasn't the Dale record, but we may have to get used to that never being clear-cut again

Yup. I did wonder if maybe some were getting a bit carried away with his potential signing, but watching the video he's obviously a far better player than when he was here for the loan spell. Looks a genuinely exciting prospect and the fact he actually wants to be at Dale is great. Every confidence BBM will get the best out of him, because reading the Southend forum there are accusations that he tended to go 'missing' quite frequently.

Certainly given my enthusiasm for the coming season a boost.
