Blackpool FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Williams on a one-year-deal with the Club holding an option for a further year.
The combative midfielder signs on a free transfer from fellow League One side Rochdale, where he spent the last two seasons making 68 appearances.
Williams, who is a product of Liverpool’s Academy, worked under Neil Critchley at Melwood.
The 24-year-old has represented Wales at U21 level and made the breakthrough to the senior squad back in 2015.
On signing with the Seasiders, Williams said:
“I’m delighted to have finally signed and can’t wait to get going now.
“I spoke to the Gaffer and Mike Garrity about the possibility of joining and I jumped at the chance.
“To work under Neil and Mike again will be great. They are two great coaches and can really bring the best out of players. I’m confident, that with the squad they are building here, we will have a successful season at the Club.”
Neil Critchley said:
“I’m delighted to have Jordan on board for the 20/21 season.
“We’ve worked very hard on identifying and recruiting the players we need here at the Club, and Jordan is the type of player and character we feel will add a lot to the team.
"Having worked with him at Liverpool for a number of years, myself and Mike know the qualities that he will bring to the Club both on and off the pitch. We're looking forward to working with him."

Not the most inspiring of signings but Critchley knows, and obviously trusts, him.
He's only been given a 1 + 1 contract and therefore can be released at the end of the season if he doesn't shape up. That'll keep him on his toes as I know all too well.
Knows Critchley from Liverpool youth and so, will know the systems we're going to play.
L1 experience.
Only 24 years old.
Fits the versatile mold - or is it mould?
Can play defensive mid, centre half (perhaps as cover as he's too small ) but I'd imagine he's come here to compete for the right back slot.
Will know Virtue from his days with Liverpool youth.
Negative:- If it doesn't work out, he takes up a valuable place in a capped squad.
