Surely Cooper deserves praise for the development in Guehi's game since joining on loan. He was absolute dross in his first few matches but he stepped up on Saturday. He was sent here until the end of next season by Chelsea with the hope he would be developed as a player by Cooper, and Saturday suggests that may just happen.

Still only 19 he’s looked nervous as anyone would be making their debut. Played a bit for England at under 21 level he’s got talent and fight as he showed against Sheff Weds when he also looked calmer and more relaxed especially in possession.

And yes Cooper has done well to get these lads in. Add Brewster Woodman and Gallagher to the list of key loan signings.

Let's see. 1 game. And he wouldn't have been at Chelsea in the first place if he was sh*t. But he did indeed look much better on Saturday.

Clearly a bright young man (he conducted himself admirably in the post match live interview) who always tries his best to the play in the right way. His anticipation and reading of the game was top-drawer on saturday.

Has had the potential for some time to step into the CDM role, a win-win for all parties. Its a pity Leon isnt at the training ground to nurture his ongoing development.

I’m thankful for what Leon did on the pitch, but even when he speaks it’s clear teaching someone properly, knowing about how they learn and nurturing development is clearly not something he can do.

OK I've changed it.
