I agree that derbies with Halifax would be good, but technically it isn't the same club as the one that got relegated all those years ago.
A new club such as AFC Halifax can't adopt the history of Halifax Town FC, but to be fair, I don't think it would attempt to.

Ian Evatt has done an outstanding job there. People I've spoken to who know him describe him in terms that remind me of when Keith Hill first stepped up here.
When you consider he took over as manager at Barrow when they were floundering - with no real budget to speak of when compared to some of the other teams in the division - it's incredible. | |
