| Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws. | Poll: | How do you like your steak? |

Racist Killay on 09:28 - Jun 11 with 1478 views | Catullus | Nope, it's the death of all colour, colour is clearly used to define racial supremacy and and discriminatory to people of colour so we now have to use a different name, which at some point will be seen as a reference to those not of the same ethnic group so will be baned also, etc, etc, etc.

Racist Killay on 11:26 - Jun 11 with 1415 views | Glyn1 | Keep the name, change the pub signs. 'Boy' can be offensive in America if said to a black man but we ain't American so I'm not sure who's pretending to be offended. But I'm puzzled why a pub in Killay is named after King Charles II.

Racist Killay on 11:57 - Jun 11 with 1411 views | Catullus | Because he was the 'Merry Monarch' maybe? Which I reckon is a better name for a pub anyway.

Racist Killay on 12:20 - Jun 11 with 1395 views | Pegojack | I don't think the one in Killay had anything to do with King Charles. They may have changed the sign now, but when I was going in there forty odd years ago, it definitely featured a young man of dusky hue sporting a turban.

Racist Killay on 12:53 - Jun 11 with 1361 views | Brynmill_Jack | As a resident for most of my early life in the area I can confirm this. If I remember correctly the lad in the sign had a turban and was dressed a bit like a prince. As a kid though and later as a teenager (before “political correctness went mad”) I was baffled as to why a pub would be named “the Black Boy”. Like I said I interpreted the image definitely not to be a reference to slavery but it just seemed a bonkers name for a pub.

This of course is dependent on not washing the players kit after games. It’s a win win for the club, a reduction on the washing bill and of course we get to follow an up to date spot on political football club. Don’t thank me just yet.
