It should have ended after one week. It’s an empty gesture now. I could understand once a month maybe, but every week is silly. It seems that most nhs workers and carers are fed up with it now.
Ot maybe we'll be too busy booing the government for raising taxes to pay for the Covid-19 battle. When the basic tax rate is raised, when they put 5p on a litre of fuel, raise airport tax and council tax but still let corporations and the rich and famous get away with avoidance we'll need the NHS again!
My wife has the opinion that many people were clapping in the early stages as some mislead insurance that they may get help if they caught it. Now they think they are more or less safe they have lost enthusiasm
