Saw Rillington Place on Netflix. 3 part drama so not a long haul. Tim Roth brilliant as serial killer John Christie. Well worth a watch.

It's a film that strangely has slipped through the net.
But most excellent and fairly accurate.

OK I've changed it.

There was some great acting throughout all of them but didn't enjoy series 3 so much. I thought Ewan McGregor was a weak link as was Martin Freeman in series 1 but Mary Elizabeth Winstead was worth watching it for. Series 4 was supposed to air this month but it's now been put back to who knows when.

Missed it tonight as I was watching some recorded stuff but I've seen it before (On Prime I think)... A monster calls.

"Contagion" a 2011 film by Steven Soderbergh on Netflix, about a virus that starts in Hong Kong. A virus which spreads from a bat to a pig sold at an outdoor Chinese market!!

It's like watching Covid -19 in 2020!!

I haven't seen it yet, but going back to early March, some fella on twitter was on about the situation we find ourselves in now, and how uncanny this resembled it.

So from watching films on planes having made a lot of long tedious trips east in the last few years I would recommend :
The Darkest Hour
Two Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri
They Shall not grow old
Baby Driver

A bit older- Little Miss Sunshine

I enjoy the Marvel films in a brainless sort of way too.
The other thing I watched back-to-back was ‘Chernobyl’ . Not much fun, but an astonishing TV series

'White Boy Rick' with Matthew McConaughey is a good watch and there's a documentary on Netflix called 'White Boy' which details the true story.
