I suggested that wild theory about 2 weeks ago. But that was on the basis that Potter had Brighton playing good passing football (which was the case in 2019). I watched the 2nd half of their game, and boy they were boring to watch. Potter's big weakness has always been lack of creativity in the final third. | |

We dominated many games and had great possession numbers, but didn't score enough goals.
We had some great moments, but as a whole it was a disappointing first half of the season. We weren't very clinical and were punished for it.
Maybe I'm judging more off his Brighton games since I've seen those more recently. Certainly the Brighton team lack ideas going forward. | |
