The sad thing (for TC and us really) is that you always felt there was a footballer in there, given some glimpses we had from time to time. In my view he had ability, and didn't really need to put himself about, just be a little braver, work hard and maintain lively possession - he had the blueprint in Leon the legend. I can't think of a better fit for someone like Tom than the Swans, so I would imagine , if he's honest, he will see this as a huge missed opportunity. | | | |
