Potter in for Celina on 11:25 - Jan 19 with 2201 views | magicdaps10 | Are we going to see a promising transfer window turn into a "wtf" window.!?

Potter in for Celina on 11:25 - Jan 19 with 2198 views | PozuelosSideys | No coincidence he had his best game for a fair while yesterday. Gallagher got close to him often and usually gave him a pass option which also distracted defenders and gave him that extra yard of space. Those two look like they will link up very well if they spend the rest of the season in the team. They both like to look up and drive forward.

Potter in for Celina on 11:32 - Jan 19 with 2176 views | controversial_jack | Why? The money won't go into team development!
Potter in for Celina on 11:36 - Jan 19 with 2161 views | jasper_T | It'll go into paying the players and staff. Might keep the academy open another year. Championship income alone isn't enough to support Championship squads, player sales are a fact of life at this level. Bellingham doesn't even have a professional contract yet, why would Man Utd pay £25m for him? Tribunal would surely be cheaper.
Potter in for Celina on 11:37 - Jan 19 with 2160 views | theloneranger | Quite a few fans wondered why we signed Gallagher on loan, perhaps this Celina story is the answer!!
| Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎 |

Potter in for Celina on 12:14 - Jan 19 with 2050 views | Brynmill_Jack | The difference in Celina when he gets that extra yard is like night and day.

Potter in for Celina on 12:18 - Jan 19 with 2046 views | Dr_Winston | I don't recall a single person wondering why we signed Gallagher. Most people just expressed relief.

Potter in for Celina on 12:36 - Jan 19 with 1988 views | magicdaps10 | Here is an interesting thing for you to think on Jasper. We had 2m off United Jan 2nd as part of the James deal. Just under 1.5m from Sheff United for Mcburnie a few days back. We had just over 500k as part of the Siggy deal also this month. Out goings was just 200k as part of the Celina deal to Man City. Will also throw in that come May, we will have 1m off Fulham for Mawson. There is another 6m plus coming in June for payments on Fabianski, Messi, Clucas and Bartley..... If WBA go up that will be nigh on 7m. The only payments we have going out that month is just under 1m for payments on McKay, Asoro and Simon Pauket.

Potter in for Celina on 12:43 - Jan 19 with 1961 views | thornabyswan | We would lose our bite in midfield if Gallagher played as the number 10. [Post edited 19 Jan 2020 13:10]

Potter in for Celina on 13:27 - Jan 19 with 1857 views | dobjack2 | Indeed. For example I thought that we had mortgaged Fabianski instalments for cash up front.
Potter in for Celina on 13:29 - Jan 19 with 1845 views | Badlands | What bite? As usual the new new hing is incredible! Gallagher did OK yesterday and hopefully will improve as he gets to know players around him but he did no more than Byers was doing art season. Whoever we bring in they will shine for a while then, after a few months 'coaching' will become average and lack confidence. Celina has been played out of position by Cooper ... it is one of the recurring themes with this player. If Cooper gets no more from him than we have seen his season anywhere near £10 million would be great business. Bite in midfield? Play a defensive central midfielder whose roll is to break up play in the central areas between attack and back four, Fulton could do it, Wilmot by all accounts could do it. At present have we a group of players in the middle of the pitch moving from side to side and leaving massive gaps. Yesterday Wigan found it easy to get through because as our midfield drifted left and gaps appeared right. they drifted right and gaps appeared left, they stood still and there were just gaps. Play the right players in the right positions and we walk this league with or without Celina.

Potter in for Celina on 13:30 - Jan 19 with 1848 views | Dr_Winston | Pretty much. We also still owe money out for other players signed apparently.

Potter in for Celina on 13:43 - Jan 19 with 1801 views | thornabyswan | He is not a number 10 thats not his position. If Celina goes then we get a replacement or go within the squad.. But Gallagher needs to play a deeper roll [Post edited 19 Jan 2020 13:45]

Potter in for Celina on 13:44 - Jan 19 with 1805 views | magicdaps10 | Guaranteed money.... Yes. You can't do it for unguaranteed payments such as non relegation, promotion, appearance fees etc. To suggest what we get for Celina goes to pay wages is worrying.

Potter in for Celina on 14:03 - Jan 19 with 1721 views | jasper_T | Think the last accounts showed a big difference between outstanding debtors and creditors falling due after more than a year, so we were starting with a handicap before last player sales. It's definitely good for us that DJ and Oli are fulfilling some of their bonus clauses at their new clubs. People on here keep saying we got £35m for the pair of them but that wasn't the up front value at all. Staggered payments and millions contingent on appearances and accomplishments, as is standard these days.
Potter in for Celina on 14:13 - Jan 19 with 1694 views | jasper_T | Brentford's wage bill on their last accounts was £17.2m, with a turnover of £12.7m. That's the state of play these days.
Potter in for Celina on 14:13 - Jan 19 with 1693 views | Dr_Winston | Yup. From what I can gather we're in a much better state than we were last summer, vastly better off than we were in summer 2018, but we're not entirely out of the woods yet. Still a lot of legacy commitments hanging around our necks, but the volume of contracts due to end in the summer should basically put us there or thereabouts. I know we all have a grumble and a gripe, but to avoid the kind of financial meltdown we were looking down the barrel at whilst still remaining competitive (shite standard this season acknowledged) is pretty good going. I'm looking forward to this summer with some optimism.

Potter in for Celina on 15:02 - Jan 19 with 1573 views | QJumpingJack | Nixon receives most of his info via agents. It is likely that Celina's agent is pushing for a move. The story is just to alert clubs that he is available at the right price.
Potter in for Celina on 15:19 - Jan 19 with 1525 views | DrGonzo | I for one think Celina is our most talented player and would be gutted if he left.
