Counting of postal votes... on 17:17 - Dec 11 with 2376 views | sherpajacob | Don't need a fact checking service to hear what she says. She clearly has information about breaches of electoral law. She should share it with the police.

Counting of postal votes... on 17:40 - Dec 11 with 2353 views | WarwickHunt | "Peter Oborne, writing for openDemocracy, criticised Kuenssberg for perpetuating what he called 'client journalism'],suggesting that she may be too compliant in their eagerness to receive "insider" information which they report without challenge. This, he wrote, "allows Downing Street to frame the story as it wants. Some allow themselves to be used as tools to smear the government’s opponents. They say goodbye to the truth." The editor-at-large of Sky News, Adam Boulton, called for journalists not to be "part of the government's fake news machine". Sadly, Alistair Campbell the consummate media manipulator has been expelled from the Labour Party and is going to vote Lib Dem. Cummings is a lot better at it than the amateurs doing it for Labour. The BBC is trying to compete with social media and failing badly.
Counting of postal votes... on 17:43 - Dec 11 with 2345 views | LeonWasGod | Cheers Sherp, useful. Sounds like her 'sources' and she herself have both fecked up.
Counting of postal votes... on 17:54 - Dec 11 with 2320 views | Lohengrin | Peter Oborne working for the Soros Foundation wants to talk about “client journalism?” Should be instructive, he’d know a thing or two.

Counting of postal votes... on 18:47 - Dec 11 with 2239 views | sherpajacob | What part of this needs fact checking? The words that you can hear coming out of her mouth or the electoral law that has been broken?

Counting of postal votes... on 18:51 - Dec 11 with 2234 views | londonlisa2001 | They aren’t allowed to count postal votes today.
Counting of postal votes... on 18:56 - Dec 11 with 2224 views | londonlisa2001 | Kuenssberg was on live TV at the time. Firstly votes are not counted before polls shut tomorrow they are only opened, supposedly face down and they can’t be tallied. Secondly any info that parties do get in advance, from them not being very careful about handling the forms face down, is absolutely, categorically not allowed to be made public. And certainly not by the BBC political editor on live TV. It has the ability to massively affect the election results. This should be a losing her job type incident. Genuinely. Counting of postal votes... on 19:00 - Dec 11 with 2203 views | Lohengrin | That’s quite clearly not the procedure being followed, Lis. If Joe says his wife is counting as we speak, I suspect she is.

Counting of postal votes... on 19:05 - Dec 11 with 2190 views | londonlisa2001 | Nope, It is illegal to count today. In fact, until after 10pm tomorrow. They are opening the postal votes today to get them ready to send to the count for tomorrow night. They are not allowed to count them - ‘make a tally’ - I think the rule says. The bit they ignore is that they are supposed to remain face down so no one can see how things are shaping up. They don’t. So it’s possible to get an idea. But they’re not counted.
Counting of postal votes... on 19:08 - Dec 11 with 2182 views | Lohengrin | I know what you’re saying but it’s all out of the window. All interested parties have observers present and they’re leaking info left right and centre.

Counting of postal votes... on 19:13 - Dec 11 with 2171 views | londonlisa2001 | You think it’s boring that the chief political editor of the state broadcaster, which we all fund through a mandatory tax is either deliberately trying to influence tomorrow’s election or alternatively is so stupid that she doesn’t realise she’s doing it?
