You must be joking, The Toon have some of the best fans in the country.

If we get through, that away stand will be full no question.

Just looking at the whole fixture list, other Han the all premier league ties, the TV likes to see a minnow at home to a premier league team for a potential shock. You have middlesborough against Spurs, Gillingham v the Hammers and Preston v Norwich. Other than that I would say ours looks quite appetising to a neutral. Mersyside Deby will be clearly the big one

How many ties are live in Total?

There are usually 6 televised 3rd games.
1 Friday night.
2 Saturday
2 Sunday
1 Monday night

Definitely:
Wolves v Man Utd
Liverpool v Everton
Arsenal v Leeds
Gillingham v West Ham
Boston/Dale v Newcastle

Possibly:
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest ?
Middlesbrough v Spurs ?

I doubt there will be a Friday game this year with everyone playing on the Wednesday (1st Jan). There will probably be three on Saturday or Sunday.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Getting past Boston is a very big IF .
We have struggled 3 times so far against Non league opposition.
Our lack of commitment and aptitude really worries me.
As you all know I cant be doing with MJW , I have never seen him have a good game( I class a good game as doing your job throughout the 90 mins) , his lazy malaise seems to have spread throughout the whole team.
As for the draw, I would of rather seen an away game at Newcastle , Leeds, Man C , Man U , Liverpool , West Ham , Spurs, Chelsea or Arsenal with a much bigger crowd and a bigger money pot, just in time to spend on a decent striker , a good holding midfielder and either sign up McShane or a decent replacement.

Amazing draw, we have never played them in a competitive fixture. They will easily fill the away end and since BBM requires funds then give the Geordies half of Pearl Steet.

The gain on giving away half of Pearl Street will far outweigh any new Daleys suddenly bitten and wanting to go to every home game from a financial point of view plus wouldn't they already be there after the Spurs round in 2018.
