I am looking every day as I haven't booked yet and want it cheapish. Split flights are best.
Getting there is ok via perhaps Istanbul. It's getting to Rome from Baku I find expensive.
But could fly to Milan then a 6 hour cheap train to Rome.
All sorts of permutations.
What's your budget for flights ? Are you going on to Rome or flying back from Baku? | |

No I'm doing one or the other, Rome or Baku. Baku is my preference.
As there are still plenty of tickets available for Baku, in a few weeks im hoping they'll realise the demand isn't there and the price of flights will reduce. | |

Have a look at Sky-scanner. Enter the date, one way and Baku as the departure point, put the cursor in the destination box and it should bring an option like Can’t decide/ flexible or Everywhere up, search on that and see what it pulls up and try and work forward to Rome from there. There’s also a train from Baku to Tbilisi if that helps.
