No idea where we go from here on 22:10 - Nov 9 with 1735 views | Ripleys_revenge | Completely agree about the Echo making some noise, but the problem is they know that as soon as they are seen to be too critical they will get shut out again by the insecure, authoritarian incompetents who run our club. Football executives are so unaccountable it is ridiculous. No other industry would tolerate the lack of transparency, and worse - the lack of respect that is shown to the club's supporters. And all this on the back of a supposed new era of transparency. Disgusted by saints these days
No idea where we go from here on 22:34 - Nov 9 with 1681 views | Occasional_Showers | What must James Beattie have thought? This team is the worst team I’ve ever known, it’s probably the worst team in the clubs entire history. It’s utter utter shit.

No idea where we go from here on 22:40 - Nov 9 with 1671 views | Saintsforeverj | Yep, the team is absolute rubbish and totally cr@p. 9 nil and never ever getting any home points. This is the most terrible Saints team I have ever ever seen. Beattie must be in shock at how incredibly bad we are. The team is hopeless. [Post edited 9 Nov 2019 22:42]

No idea where we go from here on 22:55 - Nov 9 with 1642 views | A1079 | This probably sounds perverse to say it, because we are not facing administration, but strangely this situation feels worse than when we went down in 2005 and when we faced uncertainty about the clubs future. May be it feels worse, because this situation was so avoidable, so unnecessary. This has happened because of appallingly bad decisions at all levels, not because we are facing a financial crisis - though we may soon be. Marcus had built us back up. No one expected us to win the league or that there would not be good and bad seasons, but what we thought, is that the foundations had been put in place for a long and exciting future. That the lessons of 2005 and administration would be a reason enough to ensure that we would not put the club at risk again. In a short time, those foundations set by Marcus have been dismantled. Those that hold the stewardship of the club and those that play for it, seem hell bent on tearing it apart. It is only football, but from a purely football and supporter perspective, it is so sad and there seems nothing we as fans can do to stop it. [Post edited 9 Nov 2019 23:03]

No idea where we go from here on 00:33 - Nov 10 with 1511 views | DorsetIan | Is what we are suffering now a salutary lesson of the truth in ‘pride comes before a fall’. Having finished 8th and got to a cup final we were pretty much all delighted (me included) to see the back of Puel. Come back Claude, all is forgiven. The most optimistic analysis for me is that Rohl really was the man and Ralph is tactically inept, because then someone else might be able to do as well with this lot a Ralph and Rohl did wth them last year. If Ralph isn’t the problem, we really are f*cked. I was on holiday for the united game, so I’m 5 losses out of 5 so far. My son went to Spurs too - he’s 6/6. Gao out!

No idea where we go from here on 01:13 - Nov 10 with 1482 views | sfc1971 | Ralph H thrived on counter-attacking, quick young forward-thinking players in his previous tenures. He never really had to think defence 1st so has pretty much either been found out or is out of his depth. I could be wrong and maybe He was sold a lie or somebody else done the recruitment over the summer because we all said our defence and their backups were shite and that was where we needed to strengthen pronto! That didn't happen and hey-ho look where we are today. I`m not sure if the fiddling with our line up is because of RH not knowing his best defenders, not trusting them or just clueless? He always used to go 4-3-3 counter and it worked until we get re-countered then we are in the brown stuff as our defenders are either low on confidence, just not bothered or plain shite! I don't think personally that sacking him will be the answer but giving him the right tools for the job so he can play the game his way maybe just maybe will? Thoughts...............................

No idea where we go from here on 07:33 - Nov 10 with 1320 views | Occasional_Showers | I would argue that we are in a worse position now than we were in 2005. In 2005 relegation meant that we went bust and it cleared the decks for a new beginning. Relegation this time means we go down with players that no other clubs are going to be interested in signing and with Gao who has loan repayments to pay. Before the decks are cleared things will need to get a lot worse and the best case scenario is Liebherr buying us back. Gao though has other options before he needs to do that including selling the ground.

No idea where we go from here on 07:58 - Nov 10 with 1301 views | SteveMoron | Fat Sam would get us out of this but we'd all be calling for his head when we're only sitting in 12th place this time next season.
No idea where we go from here on 08:15 - Nov 10 with 1273 views | Kennington | He was very diplomatic at half time. Yesterday was another example of a completely unacceptable performance. The only ‘positive’ were a few Gao our chants. Which will hopefully gain momentum at over the next few games.

No idea where we go from here on 09:43 - Nov 10 with 1139 views | DorsetIan | We’ll need to see the club’s next set of accounts to get a better feel for what is happening in terms of £ leaving the club to Gao. It is also not clear whether Gao currently has any outstanding amount on any loan he had to take out to buy his shares, because the ‘Lander’ side of things is complicated. The 80% in Saints is ultimately owned by HK company with “Lander” in its name but this is not Gao‘s main company. His main company is Lander Sports which is a Chinese company. Now he sold a controlling interest in Lander Sports (the main one) to a Chinese govt wealth fund in the Spring of this year, so he may well have used the sale proceeds to pay off any loan he took out to buy Saints. (This all caused the EPL to look into whether the ownership of the club had changed but Gao’s argument (I think) will have been that the ownership of the HK „Lander” Company had not changed). Confused? You should be. Using the name ‚Lander“ in everything does that. It also might explain the sponsorship. We know that the ‚LD Sports“ Company (a different one again) is a crock of p1ss but because the name it isn’t a million miles away from “Lander sports” (the one now controlled by the Chinese govt fund), perhaps the idea is that this is really sponsorship and name awareness for that company. Smoke and mirrors it definitely is. And meanwhile certainly no money flowing in the club’s direction.

No idea where we go from here on 13:16 - Nov 10 with 1046 views | this_charming_man | Goa got a loan from a Hong Kong bank to fund our purchase. In the 2018 accounts there was a “other loan” payment made of £20m, it was a transfer made to the parent company. Looks suspicious to me.

No idea where we go from here on 23:41 - Nov 10 with 802 views | Saintsforeverj | In terms of where does the team go from here, I think we should just go back to basics. Go to Arsenal next and sit really deep, a Puel type performance and play one up the front. At the moment, it seems to me that we are trying to sort the defense out, whilst also trying to attack = disorganised shambles. There are still plenty of points to play for so just pack the defense, be really compact and try to nick a point. They have to restore a bit of belief and take away that anxiety by packing the defense and having a strategy. I can't see another way forward for this team. We can't attack and leave gaps, we just arn't good enough. Back to basics I say!

No idea where we go from here on 05:30 - Nov 11 with 748 views | Butty101 | Indeed there is a payment of 20.5 million of share holder loan. One that wasn’t there the previous year. How has no one mentioned this before

No idea where we go from here on 08:20 - Nov 11 with 662 views | this_charming_man | Yep it says it was a direct transfer to the parent company. Lander sport took our a loan of to fund the purchase of the club with a Chinese backed Hong Kong based bank to buy us. The accounts say the club is a subsidiary of lander sport.
