I think that's the fundamental point.
If it was GMR you can make a case for Bolton coverage. But as it's Radio Manchester, that should, technically, exclude Bolton from any mention. Bolton should be covered by Radio Lancashire in my view, along with Wigan. | |

Back in the late 80s, Dale were bottom of the GMR pile underneath United, City, Oldham, Bolton, Bury, Wigan and Stockport. It got even worse when Macclesfield came in and got promoted. They'd always go to Malcom Lord last, almost as an afterthought.
At this moment in time, there's only United, City and Wigan above us not just in terms of football on the pitch but matters off it. That's pretty good going. | |
