£3.50 pies on 18:46 - Jul 21 with 15246 views | 442Dale | Saw that but didn’t buy them last season, what price were they then?

£3.50 pies on 18:51 - Jul 21 with 15232 views | isitme | It wasn't just me who was outraged at the price then! Think they went up to £2.80 from £2 the season before. So almost double the price they were two seasons ago. Not sure the pricing strategy is the best. I think it was £3 for a bag of Harbio that is a quid in Asda!
£3.50 pies on 18:57 - Jul 21 with 15198 views | 442Dale | Found this: https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2018/september/catering-kiosks/ So, going off that, pies have gone up by 70p and presumably so have other items. Could the Trust, as they were explicitly named within the above article for their work around surveying fans on the subject, confirm whether they were consulted, as per the MOU, around any price rises which would obviously impact members/supporters? Will copy to the Trust thread to ensure this is covered in one place for their convenience.

£3.50 pies on 19:04 - Jul 21 with 15161 views | ColDale | It'll get raised and follow it up but from conversations this time last year, the catering is done by an external company and as such, the club will have very little involvement in setting the prices or the suppliers if any at all. Bit of pressure last year saw some changes to the menu. Had a pie last Wednesday and couldn't believe it was £3.50 (the lad actually asked for £3.80). Nicest thing you could say about it was that it was bland.
£3.50 pies on 19:07 - Jul 21 with 15135 views | windowsbug | So, don't buy them.
£3.50 pies on 19:07 - Jul 21 with 15132 views | 442Dale | Thanks. The question that needs to be asked is, if the club have little involvement, at what point do they look elsewhere so their supporters aren’t paying such ridiculous amounts?

£3.50 pies on 19:08 - Jul 21 with 15120 views | ColDale | Unfortunately, there's a contract in place.
£3.50 pies on 19:11 - Jul 21 with 15104 views | soulboy | Exactly, im sure people could last a coupe of hours without a pie. If not, use Willbutts Lane chippy when its open, which is every Saturday match day.
£3.50 pies on 19:11 - Jul 21 with 15102 views | TVOS1907 | The club have contracted the external company, so they will and should have a say in the prices they charge.

£3.50 pies on 19:13 - Jul 21 with 15085 views | 442Dale | And is it one where the club were aware of year on year price rises to such an extent? It’ll be interesting to hear the feedback and whether further pressure, like last year, can see positive changes that will benefit supporters whilst the current deal is in place.

£3.50 pies on 19:13 - Jul 21 with 15084 views | isitme | That's the thing at those prices the club could be losing a potential source of income, unless they make nothing from the kiosks anyway.
£3.50 pies on 19:15 - Jul 21 with 15058 views | judd | Not so sure the club can influence the prices contractually. You would get into the realms of price fixing, I guess. Anyway, bring it up at the fans forum.

£3.50 pies on 19:16 - Jul 21 with 15052 views | isitme | Woodfired on Grieve sell the same pies for £2.20 and they are open before the game.
£3.50 pies on 19:18 - Jul 21 with 15034 views | 442Dale | Yes, and although that’s a good point, it’s always good to address issues that might not affect ourselves.

£3.50 pies on 19:19 - Jul 21 with 15017 views | windowsbug | Ive never bought a pie, but we used to always buy a brew and a mars bar before the huge increases in prices a few years ago. These days the only thing I buy from the club is a season ticket.
£3.50 pies on 19:21 - Jul 21 with 15003 views | TVOS1907 | Won't they have been digested by then?
