Off back to the States to work for the other sports franchises Kaplan etc run.

They’ll be chucking us on market soon, if we aren’t already.

I hope so Risca, or they're waiting for this season to finish and then sell us.

That should free up a bit of money for a couple of loan players and still enough over for his replacement's salary.

Great move. Served no purpose.

He'll be on the same salary for the Yanks out there still working for them just not for us.

This has to be good news, been a few issues with him and Birch in the last month.... anyone confirm this on here.

As regards to us being sold, surely it is obvious that the yanks are no longer bothered with us, the Birch appointment proved that, taking into account Birch's history in recent years......this news re Pearl an is just another indication on what looks like happening in the background.

Yea but will that wage be coming out of Levein and Kaplan's pockets or out of Swansea City football club's money?

The trust need to make enquiries into this.

Not convinced they’d sell unless we were in Prem. Can’t really get any return until then

Personally I think it’s a ridiculous question. He’s leaving and we won’t be paying him in his new job.

Read the article, it says he'll still be working on certain Swans projects. Will he be getting paid a retainer for this or some ridiculous inflated consultancy fee as and when?

If they can sort the finances out they might as well give it a few years to see if we can back in the PL.

They'll make fck all if they sell us as a Championship club, and if the club isn't losing money no reason for them to sell and lose money.

The club could have headhunted someone equally capable of achieving similar or similar-ish standard(s) of professional competence from a regional rugby club at a mere fraction of the cost and saved hundreds of thousands of pounds annually in the process.........FACT!

Looks like the leftovers from the juicy Premier League carcass (like I and no doubt many others have predicted) is getting rather threadbare of juicy pickings for greedy ravenous vultures to feed upon.

Argus!

We will lose money in Championship though, pretty much all of the clubs do.

They want us sold on and Birch is the best man for the job as he’s proven before.

I never understood his role.
Didn't Dineen claim to do a sponsorship deal even though it was Pearlman's responsibility?

If you can take Dineen at his word.

Reckon they'll cut their losses. Championship clubs don't turn profits. Between the 28 of them, the sums they've invested aren't huge. They'll take the hit. Just a matter of making the club saleable now. For them it's a small gamble that failed - a bit like one of us losing £50 down the bookies.
