He spoke really well of what I heard. He obviously knows his stuff...
Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.
Very good interview, good to hear he'd been wanting to take the next step in management for a while, but has waited until he felt he was ready.
Also that there has already been players contacting him with interest of coming here, and that his whole family including his dad will be supporting Swansea on Derby days.
When Keith Cooper refereed us in our 2-1 win against Cardiff (in the FA Cup all those years ago), I can remember a fair refereeing performance. Even though he told Jimmy Gillian not to milk it during his celebration of sliding on his knees, when he scored that cracker.

probably a case where steve's father is in a win win, he'd be happy if Crdiff won and would still be happy to see Swansea win and see his son doing well.
I got the feeling with SC that he does have a real purpose here. Potter seemed more of an outsider to me, a very good manager but with Copper it seems more like he understands us and has admired us for many years, and will try his best to get us back in the Premiership with him.
Good interview. Hoping for the best from him and it was so nice to hear him talking about maintain ning and progressing our type of football, this will be the most critical thing in terms of how the fans take to him, I’m also hoping he has enough about him to assess and fix our defensive problems, tall order with limited or no budget but hopeful in this area.
My only concern and has been from the off, is how the senior players respond and take to him, this IMO is where the likes of Wayne Routledge will need input, if cooper councils the right senior players and gets his message across then it could work .
It’s a huge gamble but I think his interview gave a decent insight to how is going to approach the job.
Good luck Steve !!
