Weekend plans? 10:32 - Jun 8 with 1131 viewsLala

Here again....

The weather has thwarted mine somewhat. As an extended family we were attending a fun day and barbecue at the Saddle Pub near Salwick, a change of management event. Going to give that a swerve due to the weather and just meeting for lunch in St Annes instead.

Tomorrow, besides a bit of housework no immediate plans and a lazy morning 🤗

You?

Sausage & Bacon butties, Cricket on the radio while I attempt to take the Hoover apart and then fail to fix it. That will then lead to some internet shopping for a new Hoover.

Tomorrow, really need to catch up on some paperwork.

It's a bank holiday weekend here.

First things first -

The weather is middling but at least no rain is forecast.

Watching Mum and perhaps The Virtues.

We'll make some plans for an outing over the next couple of days but don't know what yet.

Mrs spudgun`s 50th birthday party today.

Family and friends arriving from four o`clock.

Lots of preparation work for an outdoor do, and the worst day for months!

Hope you all got your invites...

Just popping round to the Gove's, to pick up some of Columbia's finest product. Be round about 5 pm.

Indeed it did Red. Lots of old friends, doddery relatives and feral kids who all had a good time.

And thanks to all, for the kind birthday wishes to mrs spudgun.

Spell, that was a scurrilous slur on my good character, and you will be hearing from my solicitors in due course...

A leisurely bike ride round town, stopping off for a pint or perhaps an ice cream on the quays.

Not staying in to watch the 3rd place play off.

18,000 steps on the morning constitutional. Taking it easy now.

I’m going to smoke some opium this afternoon. Then I’m going for a little jog to see my dealer for some coke. White lines blows my mind, baby.

18K is a good effort.

Hannibal, That sounds like one of my weekends in my younger days.

Bike ride round Bordeaux done. Visited the Roman ruins at Palais Gallien and then went to the Darwin Hangar.

Look them up on Google Maps.

Had a couple of pints in town before coming home.

It would have been nice to when we got back home but we tried an episode of The Virtues which made us feel like hanging ourselves.

Got in around 9, lovely walk round Bolton Abbey and then went in to Burnsall for tea and a walk along the river. Daughter said we clocked up 14000 steps.
