Just heard on radio that the EFL AGM is being held over 3 days in Portugal !! What's up with a day at Norton Grange?

Not got a problem with this myself. Why not have a bit of a blow out in the close season?

The bury labour MP was on Radio Manchester this morning complaining about the same thing - that's right - an MP moaning about a junket - what a hypocrite.

Are the fat cats from Bolton and them from t’other side of Heywood attending....I am sure their staff who are living off foodbanks will be pleased to know about junkets in Portugal.

Shows how out of touch football owners/administrators are.

Portugal probably chosen to coincide with the Nations League tournament

Not a problem with this either

Possibly, but it's also in Portugal every year.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Excellent - Portugal is one of the less expensive destinations, probably cheaper than the Norton Grange!

The situation at the club down the A58 is 'high on the agenda' at the EFL meeting. Could be an interesting few days.......

As D'alien rightly says, Portugal is a sensible choice. It's very good value, and probably much less expensive to host a conference there than in London.
No problem with this.

That's why they do it in Portugal. Cheaper than the equivalent in the UK

Could be why some clubs hold fans forums in Tenerife too...

They’ve done this for years I’m sure. I’m also sure that our non salaried directors pay for themselves to go.

If they do they shouldn't have to.

Poll: What is it to be then?
