OK then, sensible discussion as to who you actually want as the next man in.

None of this David Wagner crap as lets be honest... he aint coming!

Said in an earlier post mate, but if offered, Gaz would walk from wycombe on his hands on broken glass that's been set on fire. Don't worry about that. He loves the club, desperate to manage us.

Bare bones.

Saw the Winton / DaveMc beef this morning. Football Twitter is definitely some of the most aggy Twitter.

Yeah apparently Bowyer showed interest in the vacancy straight away so clearly wants the job. Has a bit of a reputation but may have mellowed with age. Seen a couple of interviews with him and been quite impressed, could be the breath of fresh air that we need. Not a very QPR like appointment so very unlikely to come I’d have thought.

As Tony F awoke one morning from uneasy dreams of Lincoln away he found himself transformed in his bed from a shrewd, successful businessman into a gigantic idiot.

I'd be interested to know the stats of how long the average manager lasts in the Championship?

22 months at a guess? Just appoint someone and let nature take it's course.

I think it's more like 15 months

Not sure if this has been posted but seems every Charlton fan rates Bowyer. Having read this he has jumped to my favourite of the bad bunch named so far

The one thing that does really impress me about Bowyer is that Cullen, Williams, Aribo, Bielik diamond he's got playing in midfield. Unusual formation suited to technical not huff-and-puff players who have had their abilities wasted elsewhere.

I always think a club like QPR needs a manager who can travel to work from his house, i.e. in the London area or nearby.

Steve McClaren I believe still lived in the N.E. ?

I don't care what nationality they are, just as long as they live in London or as said nearby.

Bare bones.

Behave Antti, I know that, your missing my point, you work it out.

He rented a place in Chiswick and moved out the day after he was sacked. Had rented it for two years apparently so if anyone is looking he may be able to sub it to them for the next year.....

Don't all jump for joy at once....

They've spoken to Cotteril and Pearson, Bill Davies has applied... but it's Sherwood's job to turn down

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Dave Mc is absolutely obsessed with the idea Cotterill will be our manager one day. I have no idea why. I think it keeps him amused.
Also, it says 'they've spoken to them' but is later slightly tweaked to 'they've applied for the job'. I suppose if Les replied to their email, they've spoken to them.

Pearson is actually a good manager, he just went completely insane.

Billy Davies! Ha ha.

Bare bones.

Completely random names making Sherwood look more attractive option perhaps?

They can apply, and have that application treated with professional courtesy. Doesn't mean they're being seriously considered.

That said, Dave wouldn't have reported it if he didn't like a click.

Why are we (allegedly) giving the job to Sherwood when he hasn't managed anywhere for some 4 years? Mega cheap option??

It says right there in the article.

Out of that lot, I'd go for Pearson.

Bit nutty so suits us.

It's a veritable who's who of who was hot in The Championship 5 years ago.

I do think that we aren't in a position to fanny around with a hot sexy new thing from leagues below or abroad.
We need someone who can come in, knows what the situation is and can confidently get to work.

The time for a cool, transformative appointment has now passed us by I'm afraid and it's a case of needs must
