Appreciate it would be crap for those living far away but if we get through a night under the lights would be great

Bit of a pish take on those who've booked trains, days off work, and hotels for the Bristol city game

Obviously people have different circumstances, but I absolutely love a Friday or Saturday night game.

better than getting knocked out in the 3rd round again, doubt many booked hotels in Bristol for a midwek game

So we assume that if we lose to Portsmouth, we play Leeds on Saturday. Not mentioned.

Train ticket money down the drain for the Bristol game and we are not even through yet. Gotta love TV ;-)

The (new) Leeds date is already in the list, we can't postpone it ...yet! - so nothing to say really!

We will be playing Leeds on the date already announced unless we beat Portsmouth.

We didn't postpone WBA BEFORE we beat Leeds.

Any clearer?

Agreed, it’s a perfect date for me and tempted to do a half day now if we make it.

Sucks for those who now can’t go or it’s difficult but this was always likely to be on and a Friday night I reckon inches up our chances of winning compared to a day game.

THe day before we beat Leeds in the FA Cup, West Brom won their 3rd round game therefore our scheduled league game against West Brom last weekend was postponed. The Leeds cup result was irrelevant .

Really disappointed. Was going to come down for the weekend and could have done any kick off time on Saturday or Sunday (other than 6pm on Sunday). No way I can get to a game on Friday night with work commitments.

£100- worth of Bristol trains down the toilet at 2 week’s notice. Disgusting.

I would have much preferred Saturday at 3.00, but I'm sure the club would like the money from a live televised match! It's very much a sh*t thing to do to supporters, but I don't think the clubs are to blame in this instance. Apart from having the match on the Wednesday, instead of the Tuesday to start with!

Do Brtistol City normally play on a Wednesday rather than Tuesday? I assume that they must do. Some forethought given to matches either side of FA Cup dates, would have had this as a Tuesday game from the start.

Of course, if we had been selected for the Sunday, the WBA match would have been moved again. Perhaps that wouldn't have had too many complaints from Rangers supporters, but it would from Albion fans having bought train tickets.

Possibly ourselves & Albion were given these time slots to avoid moving this game again?

We’ll obviously lose to Pompey making the Bristol switch pointless.

More than possible!

On the other hand, the Rotherham match is on the Tuesday after the 6th round. So if our game with manure is on the Sunday, that will be moved!

OooooooK , its still the same principle, we didn't postpone WBA until we had to.

Why would club mention Leeds game now BEFORE we play Portsmouth?

Jeeeeezz - didn't think it was THAT complicated myself!
