Just goes to show how much inaccurate stuff gets posted so quickly.

The Mirror is now reporting that there were 3 people on board the plane.

Emiliano Sala’s ex-girlfriend has claimed she doesn’t believe the disappearance of the Cardiff striker’s plane is an accident.

The 28-year-old was travelling from Nantes to the Welsh capital to join his team-mates following his £15million move.

His plane was lost from the radar as it crossed the English Channel and Sala is now feared dead.

His former partner Berenice Schkair, a French model, posted a cryptic tweet which she later deleted before expanding on her message on Instagram .

“We spoke to the player and asked him if he wanted us to make arrangements for his flight which, quite frankly, would have been commercial. He declined and made his own arrangements.

“I can’t tell you who arranged the flight because I don’t know at this stage - but it certainly wasn’t Cardiff City.”

Most likely scenario is there was a fault with the plane. Aircraft like that are more than capable of making relatively short flights across the channel in all weathers and winds. It’s probably made similar journeys thousands of times without incident.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Pilot now officially named as Dave Ibbotson, a gas engineer from Scunthorpe who has experience in taking people on parachute jumps! Somethings not right here surely!

I know it was a football agents plane, but what's the odds he got the pilot off one of them "plane share" websites. Dodgy

This was some time back so I don’t know if there’s any update to that. But naïvely or otherwise, I’m prepared to believe her account was hacked. Not beyond the realms of possibility.

I know, I’m just a trusting sort of guy😏

Funny that the pilot was completely forgotten....but he wasn't worth anything....didn't have a value? Same issues....family etc....but we treat human life...on what?...media value?

I wasn’t aiming that question at you. What I meant is, when something tragic like this happens the media seem focused on highlighting the idiots like that.

Seriously why bring up something that happened in 2009 (and I believe her account was hacked too).
It has no relation at all, other than the link to Cardiff City, with the tragic loss (as it now seems) this week of two lives.
