That's our problem, we've got inexperienced players still learning the game as first team regulars. Ideally you'd like to give them a break and bring in an experienced pro but up front we haven't got a viable alternative & in the wide positions Dyer & Routs don't appear to be under consideration
Wouldn’t you say that Dyer and Routledge wasn’t supposed to be at Swansea at the beginning of the season
As why would Potter bring in journey men like Asoro and McKay
Also read some of the postings on here, saying how useless Dyer and Routledge were when they started playing regularly again
I wasn’t a big supporter of Routledge when he first signed for Swansea
But I must admit he’s been a true professional throughout the time he has been in Swansea and especially after when he was told that he could leave at the end of the season
I really appreciate Routledge - always have. He makes mistakes but they are almost always as a result of trying something positive and his work rate has always been excellent. Someone I sit near can't stand Routledge (fair to say he has a problem with anyone not pure white) but in the Brentford match he did make a comment that he'd caught himself slagging off Routledge for playing one poor ball into the box but ignored several by Celina and James.
