I don't agree it's the best album due to it having too much stuff slapped on it. If it was streamlined down it definitely has the potential to be the best. And it has some of my favourite songs like 'Dear Prudence', 'Sexy Sadie', 'While my guitar....'

After having to play "Ob La Di" for several years, both Des and Molly can firmly suck on my chubby one. Pure trite. Quite a few Beatles songs fall into that category.
A good band, but not my cup of tea for the most of the time.
Is this the fourth release of the white album? By the time the next remaster comes around, the new found tracks will be "Harrison's hidden bowel movements" and "Ringo purchases a pack of fags and Merseyside Echo " with a special Ravi Shankar cover of "Octopus's Garden". And I bet people still buy it en masse. | |

The white had a more off the cuff studio demo feel to it, like said some good some a bit ropey.
I don’t think you can say any Beatles album is the best, they are all good, and as you listen and grow up the one you like tends to change from year to year. Timeless classics.... | |

I agree. Peoples opinions will differ but if you take a lot of the songs off the White Album and aim for it to be more like Revolver (minus yellow sub) it would be a far superior album. As it is it's more like a collection of songs rather than an album with a certain feeling or mood to it. | |

Nice edit there Darran. Saw his work at the national museum in 2014 and the remake he did of the album cover with icons on it was good. He’s doing well fir 86 it would seem. | |
