Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 09:40 - Oct 10 with 1612 views | gentlekenneth | “Now I am not going to patronise people here, but unless we stop ranting and start focusing on the real issues and indeed doing something concrete about it then the club is going to be dragged down by the negative equity.” You couldn’t even resist patronising the fans until the end of the sentence!
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 09:47 - Oct 10 with 1603 views | Leslie_Hughes | ‘Clubs are franchises’. This is exactly why fans don’t feel any connection to football anymore!

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 10:05 - Oct 10 with 1588 views | this_charming_man | There are some people who can’t bare to give reed any credit, yet for 5 years or so our recruitment was excellent, he was here then and whilst some people will say this was all down to Paul Mitchell they now blame reed for the poor signings. They want it both ways. People also forget it was Reed who brought Mitchell to the club, as well as koeman and over saw our best seasons since 1984. So for me the issue is clearly Wilson, although as he will report into Reed then he is also culpable. I do believe we think we had the magic formula and we’ve ended up with a squad full of players with hardly any experience of a top European league. All our signings have been squad players at big clubs or from lesser leagues and whilst we could get away with that a couple of years ago as we had a number of players with several years experience the reality is these days our best starting lineup contains only Bertrand, Cedric and Ing who have been regular starters for more than a couple of years not just on the premier league but in any major league in Europe. We’ve tried to be clever and try to get the new Van Dijk by signing foreign centre backs when that is one piston we need experience and in truth we should have gone for an experienced premier league one, as a result we’ve stock piled averageness there. Probably the three best signings of the last few years have come from other premier league clubs. Ings looks good, McCarthy has been good and Gunn looks a great prospect. We should definitely have looked at a centre back from the premier league as since fonte left we have no leader. Kruger, Gao and Co is another issue but the failing g has been a number of poor signings and the people responsible need to be accountable, in what business would you get away with spending £150m or so and the product getting markedly worse? Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 10:21 - Oct 10 with 1564 views | Butty101 | This article is nothing more than click bait. To Quote "At the top end what is the point about moaning about Chairman Gao, in truth so far he has done little wrong, he has invested heavily in the club, he has not asset stripped as some would claim that he would do, he has not interfered in a business in a country he knows little about, he has let those charged with running the club get on and do so." Hes done nothing full stop. He hasnt invested heavily in the club, he has borrowed some money and paid Kat, that isnt investing in the club. He isnt the man to take us to the next level like Kat promisied.

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 10:35 - Oct 10 with 1550 views | Ron11 | I think the statement 'invested heavily in the club' requires some facts and figures to back it up.
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 10:41 - Oct 10 with 1542 views | saintwizzler | We never replaced Fonte. He was the experienced CB who new the English game who helped VvD, Lovren and to some way Toby to get to where they are today. Yoshida is an experienced CB in the English game but unfortunately lacks the quality to become the new Fonte. Until this area and the stupid goals we give away is addressed we are going to struggle. Free hits v the top six are not where we should be worried about. Chelsea never broke sweat and dispatched us. A good performance with an away point v Bournemouth, a performance and that elusive home win v Newcastle, damage limitation and no reds or injuries v City then back to back home wins v Watford would be triffic.

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 11:05 - Oct 10 with 1501 views | Butty101 | Another Classic "Those more excitable in the supporter base will scream about why are we creating soccer schools in China or the States when we should be concentrating on the football are way off the mark, this is the 21st century you have to develop a club in all areas and continue to do so, if one area is failing it doesn't mean that all the others are." We have tried this before and its pointless. Anyone remember the Aus attempt at this in the 90's. It never brings through players, and dosent increase fincances.

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 12:21 - Oct 10 with 1417 views | UTS | Its 2018 not the 1990s and football has changed on a massive scale. Fans views are valid on the basis of whats been served up over recent seasons and the associated costs. Thousands of fans are now not going to games anymore. There's been colossal mismanagement at St Marys that has cost the club miliions. We might have to right off upwards of £40M yet again on useless players. You cant simply dismiss fans views as ' internet ranting' , i dont know any fan that's not saying the situation is a crisis from the office to the pub. Mark Hughes has a handful of games tro save his job, thats a 'modern football' fact. [Post edited 10 Oct 2018 13:29]

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 12:34 - Oct 10 with 1400 views | this_charming_man | We have won 5 games in 39 matches I would suggest that we are failing in the thing that is the key to any success in all the other areas
| |
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 14:53 - Oct 10 with 1318 views | Ron11 | The one area that is failing is the most important one (to us anyway). On the pitch. All the burgers, gas flames and prawn sandwiches are doing very well. We are the mushrooms. Keep them in the dark and feed them shit.
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 15:10 - Oct 10 with 1297 views | I_would | Reed is at fault for everything, he is in charge of everything. Reed's fault. Starts with him and ends with him.

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 15:51 - Oct 10 with 1265 views | gentlekenneth | No he isn’t Mr special sauce. Pinning everything on Reed is inaccurate, pointless and lets Kat, Gao and Ralph of the hook. The idea that Reed is some master puppeteer holding the fate of SFC at his finger tips is the sort of theory I’d expect from the kind of loon that lets dogs lick bacon fat off their nutsack. Do you own a dog Pete/Larry?
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 16:02 - Oct 10 with 1258 views | JaySaint | It's weird. We have been better than this but Nick would lay into the power brokers of SFC....not that many years ago [Post edited 10 Oct 2018 16:02]

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 16:23 - Oct 10 with 1222 views | Scoot | Vote with your feet and stay away. It's our money they want 25000 paying ST holders in the championship is no great loss to goa and Kat. It's only 2000 less than now. Hughes has no clue that's obvious so get rid now. Two billionaire owners and we still penny pinch and Nick tells us what a good job they're doing? Our success was down to MP ( corteses man) and RK not the board not the black box (fifa a on ps4) the rot has set in and needs cutting out and defending them buys them more time. This is a fans site no a promo site for underachieving board members that will walk away when the shite hits the fan like Cameran and more than lightly join liversaints.

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 16:30 - Oct 10 with 1209 views | gentlekenneth | Reed is one of many problems and should go. You’ll find very few people who would argue otherwise. But to say he is THE problem is just daft. Genuine question: has Les had sex with your wife and/or daughter?
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 16:37 - Oct 10 with 1188 views | Leslie_Hughes | Les wouldn’t. Les has a wife. He’s loved her long time....

Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 16:55 - Oct 10 with 1177 views | I_would | I find it really strange that anyone could get so upset, personal, and downright nasty, when someone points out glaring facts like 1) Reed IS Saints managerial problem as he is in charge of ALL THINGS FOOTBALL. (Saints FC's words) 2) JWP has been favouritised inappropriately by Reed for 6 years, by not recruiting any potential rivals to his position, which is one of the 4 main causes of our rapid demise No ACM's. Not replacing quality CB's. Persisting with Forster and rewarding him with the best 3rd-choice goalkeeper's wages in history. Not replacing quality strikers. Your inappropriate vitriol could lead people to think you had a personal agenda.
| |
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 17:13 - Oct 10 with 1158 views | Buggalugs | ....but JWP hasn't been picked as regular starter by any of our last 4 mangers, so are you saying they've all disobeyed their bosses direct orders, including the yes men of Puel and Pellegrino?
| |
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 17:55 - Oct 10 with 1109 views | gentlekenneth | So, that’s a yes then?
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 17:58 - Oct 10 with 1108 views | UTS | Here is one core issue that's also at the heart of the problems. Buying players on the basis that they are being shop windowed for agents, who want to move to another higher club asap. We have numerous players in the team that dont actually want to be here !
| |
Saints Fans Should Focus On The Real Problem ! on 23:06 - Oct 10 with 968 views | I_would | No I'm saying that if JWP had never been inappropriately punted by Reed we might have bought some better AM's because Reed didn't want to bring in competition. He wanted to force the manager of the day to play JWP. As you rightly point out this, in fact, failed as he was so bad that they wouldn't pick him anyway.
