If he can’t do a 90min shift then surely he can do 20 off the bench? Must be a better option than Smith? But as you say, might not be SM’s cup of tea, with him and Hemed off the bench, both 1 in 3+ strikers, I think that’s potentially potent from the bench.

To be on the bench, the boss has to pick you. It's pretty clear Steve Mac doesn't want to

He got us a winner at Fulham and looked like he was going to have a hemorrhage when the ref gave them that last second penalty.

In my eyes he's a modern times QPR hero. We Need More Sylla!

Good points. Ironically, based on what I have seen of him, Hemed is also not great at tracking back and fighting to get the ball. I haven't seen all his games, though.

well, our other strikers have scored a grand total of *checks notes* 1 goals between them this season.

i don't see how welcoming him back into the fold would make things worse at all. But I suppose Hemed and Wells basically have to start now with the money we're paying them or else Schteve looks like a bit of a wally

Last time they put his gpm stats in the racing post they were neither good nor up with the best.

Think you're falling into the 'anyone not playing is superb' trick here L, but its all opinions - just think he has had a chance with different managers and never really taken it.

they had gone down, but probably partly because his apps were so sparsely separated. But the idea he's ever 'had a chance' is stretching it. 'A chance' is what Washington got, again and again - and by that I mean a solid 6-8 games in a row starting, even if he has a not-so-good game. No one ever gave him that, and it's a real shame.

Bare bones.

Never given a real chance - told he would be starting the next 6 games and that he could cement his place during this time. Watch him go to someone like the Fakes and score for fun.

Poll: Remy - can he play in the playoffs - who's opening post is the best?

He's a very mixed bag.

+ves. Has a good hold up game when hit with a long ball, he's got a huge leap and strong header, and he sniffs out chances in the box from crosses in general.

-ves. He can be horribly clumsy on the floor, flat footed and his off the ball work rate and runs are not the best. Has absolutely no strike ability outside the box. Also I suspect his attitude may not be the best as three managers now have pretty much ignored him.

Unfortunately, having never had a proper run in the side we'll never know if it's more good than bad.

I doubt he stay in England after us.

He'd be very very handy in League One.

Poll: Should JFH get the sack?

Yeah, if had got that type of run in the team and shown a bit of love, he would have been fine, the damage has probably been done on both sides now , pity.
