Over the last 3 seasons (83 games including this season) we have scored 84 league goals. But I guess we've never had it so good...

Does anyone feel like not giving a sh!t about this anymore? Until there is a collective appetite to protest against Gao and Ralph at each game then I’m not fussed to pay to watch saints in this league. I’ll come back when we’re in a league we’re competitive in.

Nick will probably say that’s disloyal etc. but we are getting completely screwed by our owner and I’m not contributing to his financial benefit. No viable premier league club should need to be run on a shoestring like ours. No premier league team should need to have to sell players before it buys or have a net profit on transfers. No premier league team deserves Hughes as it’s manager.

The whole thing is just mental.

Kennington your post resonates with me - I AM DESPERATE for our Saints to do well - and am TRYING TO BE POSITIVE but it seems to me that the board members don't give a shit about the fan's - which makes me " not care " about what happens to the team - that I desperately want to be successful. At present, it's the same old mistakes over and over again and for nearly 3 years now WE NEED a quality striker to score us GOALS - - And as for Charlie - sorry he's is " a has been " and more interested in his horses. GABBIE & Ings for me! pretty PLEASE!

Just to add to the statistics of woe, we have now gone a year and a half without beating a team in the top ten.

I have a funny feeling we'll end up going to a cup final again. P*ss poor league performance followed by a hard fought win (with different players ... ) in the league cup.

It's taken me a couple of years to realise, but I have finally come to the conclusion that no matter what manager we have, the players that pull our shirt on are just not up to it-the money they earn and the hype is Premiership but the quality, spirit and determination is just NOT there.
In my naivety I really thought that a change of manager would galvanise the players and their true potential would shine though-unfortunately that is what has happened!!!
Sad times-

The thing is when Hughes came in I don't think there was a fan who could say Hughes would have been their choice of manager but after Pellegrino I'd have taken a türd with a hat on.

Hughes came in and kept us up by the slimmest of margins thanks to a goal scorers goal from a player who never gets a chance. At the time we appointed Hughes there was very few managers to choose from, if any, and understandably Hughes was given a chance to start the season. But at the risk of becoming a firing club I think I've seen enough to say we've got to get shot.

The fact that he played Austin up front instead of Gabbiadini and expected Austin to chase down defenders and has started employing zonal defending shows to me he is clueless.

My plan going forward is sack Hughes and give Rafa whatever he wants to come to us.

Strip Bertrand of the captaincy and give it to Hojbjerg, someone who gives a fück. I’d stick Elyanoussi, Armstrong, Carrillo, Boufal, Forster, Lemina and Redmond up for sale. That shower of shite cost £94m.

In addition I’d get shot of Ward-Prowse, Stephens and Long and bring Sims back from loan.

Even if we took a big hit on what we paid we’d recoup £50m. We could go to any NW European country and pick up quality replacements for £50m.

Following that I’d get the black box, take it down to PC World and ask them to give it a complete overhaul.

Then Goa needs to stick another £50m in at Christmas or fück off and let someone buy the club who actually wants to run it.

Just a thought

Exclusive picture of Matt F's candidate for the managers position last spring. Although to be honest it is a hat with turd's on ..... so didn't quite meet up with his exact profile
