Interesting point when asked by a journalist if he was linked with the Swansea job. He answered that there was a lot of dialogue and he was more than happy to start (this took place mid season). He said he wanted to start immediately but the club wanted him to come in at the end of the season and talks just drifted further away.
Who was our manger at this point? Guidolin?
He also talked at length about our tactics and manager which was a little scary, but we should get right at them tonight from the first whistle. He won't expect that.
Question for all the Bielsa fan boys, I know this board has lots of his admirers, what has he won altogether? Must be pretty impressive the way some of you go on about him, and how shite our club were for not getting him?

We asked Marcelo Bielsa to basically wait out a season for us whilst we hung Curt out to dry.

All I know about him is he was in charge of Athletic Bilbao when they beat Man U some years ago (CL or EL not sure) - have a vague recollection that Llorente was playing for them. They were a fantastic side. How much of it was down to Bielsa is anybody's guess.
