Asset strip away, strip away....Left with a SWAN CARCASS 18:36 - Aug 2 with 38901 viewscastlejack

13 players out, 3 players signed

Just heard Mawson deal now confirmed, and club seem content with £8m for Clueless.

This is so depressing,

Having worked in the City for many years, I knew these bustard yanks would asset strip us for years which started even before their first season as owners had started....

But this is bordering on ridiculous. The rate of pillage is speeding up and the vultures have now successfully left us with a SWAN CARCASS.

The parachute payments are only ever one click away as they disappear electronically across the Atlantic.

It does make you wonder (allegedly) how we can’t afford Woods untill we sell Clucas mind.

I'm no accountant, but as we need to balance the books upon relegation, it just might be a case of not being able to afford Woods until we sell Clucas?

Yes I understand that but there’s surely enough money been brought in to go out and buy Woods and then worry about selling Clucas.
Fuçk me how many players have we got off the wage bill too?

No there's not Dar. We still have a massive wage bill. We have to be very very careful in what we do or we will end up in deep crap.

I know for a fact that Omar has stronger accounting skills than this joker, cos I taught him the basics of accounting for players a couple of months ago in a few posts one morning.

Basics that for some reason appear to have eluded Castlejack during his long and no doubt distinguished career in the city.

If Omar can deal with him, at risk of coming across as arrogant this is frankly a little below my pay grade.

Is today in line with the plans? What's it now 16-17 players out with probably still Naughton and Narsignh to loan out, so any player with any value. 3-4 in all relatively cheap / free. Doesn't look much like a re-investment in squad plan.

Obviously we were previously able to buy players with the income. What was the gap between income and wages?
I would expect that, apart from Bony, all the hugely expensive earners have left (temporarily or sold) or on a relegation clause.
Is there any expectation of "championship" earnings and then what the gap between income and expenditure is going to be?
I would like to know as a fact, when someone like Bony is long term injured, are the wages covered by insurance?
