Was it 13 years ago today? Didn’t we play a friendly against Fulham or was it Blackburn. I know that Marc Goodfellow scored in of them games.

On 23 July 2005, Liberty Stadium was officially opened as Swansea City faced Fulham, (then managed by former Swansea player Chris Coleman) in a friendly match. The match ended in a 1—1 draw with the first goal being scored by Fulham's Steed Malbranque. Swansea's Marc Goodfellow scored during the game to level the match.

It was also Alan Curtis’ testimonial match. He came on him his number 7 shirt, replacing Leon.

Bonnie Tyler was singing before the match.

We did play Blackburn though didn't we, must have been a pre-season friendly, I'm sure it was a draw at half time, they then scored a few in the second half
