Seeing lots of articles about him coming to us in the last 4 hours. He posted a picture of his passport in an airport on Instagram too so looking promising.
With him, hall and the bfg I think we have a pretty capable cb rotation. Add in baptiste and lunch for Cover and Philips has looked ok during the preseason and should hopefully get a chance near the first team this year. I’d consider letting lynch leave it we can get any offers.

What does everyone else think ?

Would be great news if true.

Ideally if we could add a centre forward, sell Washington and keep the rest of the squad together, we're looking good

Personally I'd let Syla go first we'd get a fee for him ! Lazy player we can't afford that type , Washington how much would we get not a lot imo , ship him out on loan and hope he can find a bit of form to flog him in January

Yeah I agree about Sylla although calling him lazy is a bit unfair. He’s just unconventional. The best game I remember him having for us was Ipswich away last year where he was hard working and disciplined and almost nicked a goal. Unfortunately that’s not the norm for him for whatever reason. He does score goals though so it’s a difficult one.

I like Sylla too and want to see how he does under mclaren. Mclaren does have a history of motivating lazy strikers like Martin.
Washington isn’t cut out for this level, he’s like a small Agyemang.

Never mind the ability, as long as a player runs about a bit it's all good.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

It ain't ! But what we need is a bit of both , just think if jet had that he would have been the best striker in the the championship

I've heard Aldi rumours as well. This ASDA be a wind up. I think there's Lidl in this. But if it is true it would be great to bag a bargain.

I'll get my coat.........

I always liked Asda Hartford when I was a kid. Andy Lidl could play a bit too.

If you think Sylla is lazy then why aren't you advocating getting shot of Matt Smith. btw Sylla isn't lazy, he just isn't Connor or Little Smyth, there is a big difference. Of all the strikers we have, he is the most likely to score an opportunist goal when the ball is in the box.

The grass is always greener.

Sylla isn't lazy, he makes loads of Wavy Lines all over the pitch.

It's a shame the deals has gone for a Burton, he would've been a Topman
