Not heard anything at all, but then I never do. I just hope they are not relying on Austin, Long and Gallagher. I think areasix mentioned Ings. We seem to get linked to him in every window.

Poll: Quickie Poll. Tonights Outcome.

It would be nice to buy a striker who could actually score goals. You'd hope being an ex striker Sparkey will spot the duds.
I'd steer clear of Ings - we need someone who's not injured by October.

Austin needs someone to keep him company in the treatment room and Ings is perfect.

Poll: Have we reached our peak as a 6th - 10th placed club?

Have to say, so far credit where it’s due. Saints seem to be addressing the areas where we have fallen short over the last couple of seasons, with the new CB looking like he’s signed and Carrillo shipped out, you'd think that next up will be a forward. I’ve seen Ings being linked, decent player but terrible injury record, do we really want another player like that?

I agree it does seem promising doesn't it? Anything to do with Les being ousted?
I still think Marriott at Peterboro is worth punt striker wise

Walking me dawg through Victoria park yesterday ,bumped into some of Danny's family obviously got talking whilst our dogs played chase around and around.

They just smiled and shrugged their shoulders when I pressed them on it.

I got back to the car and Toby said that he even asked their pet about it, apparently he just barked at the idea .

keep the faith coyr

Who knows, perhaps! Would like to think that everyone involved has learnt from the last couple of seasons and are trying to get it right, as I said so far so good.

Don’t know anything about this Marriott guy, is he any good? Surely we need someone that can stay fit, is proven at a high level and can score!

'Proven at a high level' would rule Marriott out.
