Leon and Jason Mohammad on 08:43 - Jun 20 with 2863 views | Neath_Jack | Agreed, was there again yesterday, Swansea will never be on a par with that place. There’s more quality shops in one street than the whole of Swansea. Absolutely thriving city centre.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 10:52 - Jun 20 with 2773 views | Private_Partz | Boom City of Europe whilst the rest of Wales perishes. And deep down we all know why that is and it most certainly isn't the quality of their Local Councillors or their wonderful location. Here is a prediction. All the big stores are heading for virtual extinction with the shift in shopping patterns. In Cardiff the House of Fraser closing is just the tip of the iceberg. A City the third of the size of Bristol will not be able to support all those outlets. Particularly as they are in direct competition. Their one saving grace is they currently have all the high paid jobs but it will not save the shopping centre. Even jobs are under threat though as there is massive Public Sector duplication with Bristol. They could easily lose out as centralisation takes place in the larger population centre. They, along with Newport, could easily become satellite Cities for their larger neighbour. Driven by lower house prices and the abolistion of the bridge tolls. Back on topic, JH is a overpaid untalented twonk ;-)

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 11:03 - Jun 20 with 2751 views | Neath_Jack | Like Swansea becoming a satellite city for Carmarthen? Let’s hope that Cardiff continues to be a flagship city centre so at least we have one decent place to go. Bristol City isn’t as nice as Cardiff either. Whilst Newport is another shit tip of a centre. Shopping patterns are changing the world over due to the internet so they won’t suffer any more or less than anywhere else. It’s our fault for wanting cheaper and cheaper products and being lazy doing it online. People are selfish, always looking for the cheapest, easiest way for everything. Then moan like fûck when shops close, people lose their jobs etc.

It's not easy viewing seeing a once stylist and vibrant town centre with banks and businesses where they are now stinking heaving flesh spots
Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:26 - Jun 20 with 2627 views | taffpunk | A third the size of Bristol? What, over a million people live in Bristol? Cardiff is a great City, no matter what you think of the football team/supporters. Unfortunately, the rest of South Wales is f#cked, especially the Valleys.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:38 - Jun 20 with 2597 views | TailGunner | Slagging Swansea while praising Cardiff is repulsive - however good their city centre & shops are (never in question) They have had everything on a plate while the rest of Wales is underinvested. The local & national politicians continue to back that area & encourage investors to pump the money in. They are continually taking a dump on us. I wont go near the place or spend a dime there & contribute to the deprivation of our area. Get all the best clobber online & save money & a train ticket!

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:46 - Jun 20 with 2575 views | jack247 | Is that the site run by a bishop who throws a wobbler if anyone puts recent photos on there? If it is, the photos are pretty good to be fair. He’ll flip his lid if you stick a photo of the sun going down over Cefn Bryn though. You do struggle with the concept of people buying things online or at retail parks don’t you? City Centre shopping is on the decline more or less everywhere in Britain. If you want to entice people into places like Swansea, you do it through bars, restaurants and entertainment. Not department stores.
Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:47 - Jun 20 with 2567 views | byron | Bristol isn’t 3 times the size of Cardiff ffs, it’s not even two. In a decade or so it might not even be bigger as Cardiff is currently embarking in one of its biggest ever house building splurges ever, they plan to add 125,000 at least to the current population of 400,000. If you drive out past the old bbc studio in llsndaff and head all the way along llantrisant rd you will see what I mean, plus there are others in lisvane and north east Cardiff. Bristol isn’t that big, I lived there fir 5 years so I know. It has no room to expand either.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:55 - Jun 20 with 2536 views | jacksfullaces | can we get the thread back onto the lack of talent and vile persona of this jason mohammad idiot. the fact he either spends time actively seeking out and blocking people on twitter, or paying someone to do it for him just adds to the ever growing evidence as to his belief in his own self importance. shame other sportsmen seem to warm to him, would love one of them to back away from his best buds in the locker room approach. hopefully he will think twice before coming to Swansea again, seems to be the only people willing to bring him down a peg or two.
Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:57 - Jun 20 with 2532 views | taffpunk | Depends what site you look at-- 456-Bristol 361-Cardiff 244-Swansea Anyway, doesn't matter, it's not 3 times the size of Cardiff that;s for sure. Are you working Rebellion this year-just 6 weeks away. Oh, and back on topic, can't stand JM. [Post edited 20 Jun 2018 12:58]

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 12:58 - Jun 20 with 2524 views | byron | People will always enjoy a stroll around the shops, drink and eat. Cardiff is packed Saturday pm with people throwing cash about. the online phenomenon won’t affect all of them, partic the smaller unique shops that will I think begin to thrive. The old Victorian arcades in Cardiff will be a testament to this. Huge stores like house of Fraser and David Morgan have had there day, most of the shops within HOF had outlets elsewhere in the city anyway and David Morgan lost its way decades ago. John Lewis are doing it right for ie.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 13:05 - Jun 20 with 2506 views | byron | Cardiff is more like 375 these days, my mate is head honcho in the council and knows this stuff. Like I said we will be up there with Bristol’s population in a decade. No empty seats in our stadium, even when it goes up to 40000 after a decade in the sunshine. Going to be a nightmare tey8ng to get in with all these new plastics, you know the types yeah? They never went to the vetch and they won’t be there next season

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 13:05 - Jun 20 with 2507 views | Private_Partz | Agree with the last bit. Don't agree at all with the first bit. Wealth needs to be distributed across Wales. Not put all our eggs in one basket as it declines. As for Swansea being a Carmarthen satalite well that is just nonsense. Carmarthen is very nice but even there it is unravelling at the edges. Swansea is the economic centre of S W Wales. If the decline continues here then so will the whole Swansea Bay Region.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 13:21 - Jun 20 with 2474 views | TailGunner | A silver lining for Swansea is the city centre accommodation for students, bringing thousands of additional who actually live, eat drink shop in the city centre. The city centre is very small sitting between the hill & sea - so there is only so much you can do. It will hopefully have an upgrade on shops plus more extensive eating & nightlife options, the gastric side already expanding at quite a rate. The city centre should be transformed in 2 years.

Leon and Jason Mohammad on 18:19 - Jun 20 with 2314 views | LeonWasGod | They may have had it on a plate, but we’ve ballsed up some of the opportunities we have had. Carmarthen can’t have had more investment than us, but its centre is streets ahead. We’re reaping what our council have sowed: prioritised out of town developments, poor transport planning and a highways department that has declared war on the motorist.
