Lampard will earn more money in 6 months than what we will pay compensation to the Swedes.
That's the reason Lampard hasn't been approached.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Why the flying fcuk would lampard want to come here?

He has no experience, the club has been down that road before and it didn’t work out. It may turn players heads, but turning heads doesn’t do much to alleviate a reduction in wages dropping from the PL will bring the players. All managerial appointments are a gamble, but this is one I don’t think the club need to make.

I don't get the obsession with associating a good player with being a good manager. Quite often it's the shîte players that end up being great managers. I guess Lampard will have good contacts at Chelsea but that'll mean nothing if he isn't tactically astute.

I agree 100 per cent.

Paul Clement also had good contacts at Chelsea and Bayern, didn't work out.

Poll: Who should be our next manager? Please name them.

Good contacts were said about Clement as well, that didn't amount to much.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

What about the superstar we signed Bayern.
You know the one that couldn't tell the difference between a player and an advertising board.

Poll: Would you like Cooper to stay or go (regardless of compensation situation)

26 out of the 35 greatest managers ever were good players.

This absolute horse sh*t, that good players don't make great managers is insane..

But that's the way the world is heading.. the mind set that average people can take on jobs obviously too big for them on the depth chart.. because they don't have a clue about the actual depth required.

But they'll live and learn..

What and get John Terry with him, that alone was worth steering clear of Lampard.

Freddy Kruger has very sharp nails

Zinedine Zidane was a fair player.

He has Jody Morris as assistant manager, I think they will get some Chelsea players to add to a solid top of the Championship squad if Frank can manage they should be up there?

This wouldn't be the job for him though, we really needed experience as we need to completely change the squad with mass sell and buy, this is big transition we are going through.

Far better to go for someone with some experience and success as a manager given the state we're in.

Potter may not have "contacts" but he's got a track record for identifying players that will improve his squads.

Never mind about 'turning heads', its winning matches that matters.
These managers with so-called contacts, funny how those contacts are often washed-up journeymen trying to get one last expensive payday.
