Doncaster render traditional hoops obsolete:
Home: 5/10, a reasonable idea spoilt by the absence of a dominant third colour. It’d be a 7 or 8 with black shorts and socks. The white becomes overwhelming.
Away: 3/10, it’s like a Global Hypercolour t-shirt but not as good. Far too much red too. First thought should be a total avoidance of any clash.
Everton bring back the Umbro diamonds:
8/10, the different types of blue fabric work really well and that collar is nice too. The diamonds trim almost makes up for that ba&tard Angry Birds logo. Almost.

Dundee United and both Luton: 3/10. Tedious template tosh. Luton have gone from having a unique identity by ensuring all three colours are used effectively to a team who wears orange. Even the shorts now.
Wrexham: 5/10, the two tone red hooped effect is spoilt by a rubbish collar.
Morton: 6/10, appreciate the effort and that faded hoops thing could work but it’s not going to with so much white in the rest of the kit. Looking again, if the socks had been blue it could be winning. | |
