Las Vegas 13:55 - Apr 10 with 8365 views | N_T_J | I'm guessing a lot of you have been there. I'm going in 3 weeks time (health permitted) I want to Hire a car like a Mustang or a Camaro for a day. Have any of you hired a car if so did you book before you went or did you hire ond there? Id like to get one delivered to the hotel but looking online it says to collect at tge airport. Any suggestions please :)
Las Vegas on 15:36 - Apr 10 with 5213 views | majorraglan | Book on line before you go. Much better deals to be had.
Las Vegas on 15:45 - Apr 10 with 5200 views | STID2017 | Agree book on line before you go and as long as you get CDW, don't buy the Total Loss Waiver or any other insurance they try to sell you. Pick up at the airport - also saves you the taxi or coach transfer to the hotel and back. Vegas is easy enough to drive around, so shouldn't be a hassle.

Las Vegas on 16:41 - Apr 10 with 5161 views | LeonWasGod | Booked online. Picked up at airport - it was very straight forward. Didn't get a mustang unfortunately, just a 'standard' 3+ litre V6 Chevvy Impala. Great car for our tour though. Used rentalcars dot com and got an Alamo deal. That may or may not be any help as we were hiring for 3 weeks.
Las Vegas on 16:52 - Apr 10 with 5152 views | WxmJax | I used car3000 and booked all the insurance and a free tank of fuel before I went. [Post edited 10 Apr 2018 16:54]

Las Vegas on 18:12 - Apr 10 with 5071 views | Joe_bradshaw | I’ve used usrentacar.co.uk a number of times and found them competitive and easy to deal with. Worth a look at least.

Las Vegas on 21:58 - Apr 10 with 4915 views | Joe_bradshaw | I once picked a car up at Treasure Island hotel which happened to be where I was staying. Most car rental companies seemed to have a depot there. I don’t know about any others though. [Post edited 10 Apr 2018 21:59]

Las Vegas on 22:53 - Apr 10 with 4846 views | WxmJax | About $12 with Uber, probably 10 minutes at most from Luxor.

Las Vegas on 23:48 - Apr 10 with 4781 views | N_T_J | Ok theres no drama. All I was asking if theres rentals at the hotels. Just makes things a lot easier to collect car at the front doors due to mobility issues. 👠

Las Vegas on 01:02 - Apr 11 with 4762 views | majorraglan | I am sure the hotels can sort car hire out if you ask them, it may be a bit more pensive though. Drop them an e mail and see what they can do, you never know. Enjoy the holiday.
Las Vegas on 06:57 - Apr 11 with 4670 views | STID2017 | As you are only there for a couple of days, are you planning on going anywhere except The Strip and Fremont Street (the old Downtown with the smaller older casinos and the famous zipwire) . When we stayed there we used The Duece bus service, which runs the whole length of the Strip and down to Fremont Street. One service stops outside every hotel, whilst another is quicker and stops at less hotels. It is a very frequent service and a three day pass cost $20 pp. The monorail also runs between a couple of the hotels at the end you are staying. If you decide you must have a car then you are in the nearest hotel on the Strip to the airport (you may be able to see it, depending on your view.) - driving there is a doddle.

Las Vegas on 07:07 - Apr 11 with 4666 views | STID2017 | My wife is disabled but found the bus service easy to use. Depends on your situayion of course. If you are using a wheelchair, at certain points they have lifts to get up and over the roads (by the Bellagio for example) which are good.

Las Vegas on 07:16 - Apr 11 with 4661 views | N_T_J | Hi thank you for the info. We are there 7 nights, we booked it all last october. But I aint made any plans as I was waiting to go in for a OP and I had it yesterday and I should be recovered in time to go in 3 weeks. So if I'm honest only now im making plans as I really did not think we would be going. We though we would hire a car for a few days to head out and about. As it happens we were tolf/suggested to hire one of these eletric scooters to use up and down the strip. So we will gind a hire place when im there. The 'Duece bus' im guessing you just but tickets on the bus? Thank you for the kind input 👠
Las Vegas on 07:17 - Apr 11 with 4661 views | STID2017 | You can book Avis cars from inside your hotel. Just make sure they don't have to shuttle you back to thecairportvto collect it

Las Vegas on 07:29 - Apr 11 with 4646 views | N_T_J | Im a qudrapaligic but i can walk slowly on crutches. Only problem i have public transport is the fear of not finding a seat and having to stand and my hands aint to good at the moment to hold on. Im to polite to take a seat off someone if they are seated. I'll check it out while i'm there. If not i'll just get taxis or uber. [Post edited 11 Apr 2018 7:31]
